I started my newly acquired used B7800 today and noticed the battery light indicator stays illuminated the entire time the tractor is running. Is this an omen of a possible problem or is it supposed to stay illuminated. I'm new to this machine an my knowledge is limited. I'm thinking a charging problem. Before testing the charging system perhaps somebody familiar with the machine can provide some info. Any info will be appreciaed. Thanks

Thanks Dennis...I agree. Problem was a broken connection from the alternator to the wire harness. Cut off the old lug and crimped on a new one. The issue is now resolved.

I believe it was the F wire. It was about four (4) years ago. No trouble since. Good luck.
