What you describe is rarely reported, but (should be) easily remedied. Simply retighten the four hex bolts that fasten the bottom of the steering column to the steering controller.
Any hydraulic (steering) fluid leakage coincident with this issue?

A lot of folks think that the new bearing goes into first groove of column, you will more than likely have to cut old racing out so that the new bearing can go into second groove, give us a call if we can help 662-252-5272
