I own an L W_6 three point backhoe. the problem is- when I begin to dig the hydraulic fluid becomes very hot. At this time the main arm lift cylinder fails, the other cylinders work ok.

Can anyone help with this problem?

It's normal for the fluid to heat in use but make sure it's the right kind.

When a cylinder needs new seals (as they all do in time) the leaking can be worse with hot fluid. (You could take it off, then decide whether to replace it or to have a shop rebuild it or get the parts and do it yourself.) ....
