Hi my gator is leaking disel around the fuel tank area the fuel tank isn't damaged ,could it be a fault in the fuelcap?

You could wrap a paper towel around the cap to see if any fuel spills onto it. ....

Have you taken the tank off the Gator? There is a lot of a Gator fuel tank that's not visible while it is on the Gator.
It's not likely that the tank its'self is leaking, but you never know. If it's coming from around the fuel cap then try the paper towel thing. Plastic threads on plastic threads are OK till you cross thread it a couple times then hope it's just the threads in the cap.
