I have a circa 1991 Kubota L3350 farm/landscape tractor with about 3500 hrs. that I'd like to get a value on. Used lightly as #2 tractor the last 5 years. Has shuttle shift, SMC (model 94Q) loader w/ 72" bucket. 40HP (33HP at PTO), tires 60%+, new clutch 5 yrs ago, runs great. Could use a new seat.

Anyone know what I should ask for it? I'm thinking $6500-$7500, but I've seen some with much lower hrs. sell for over $10,000 in the last 2 years. Any thoughts?

The condition means a lot! At the price that you are thinking it would be a great buy! For the price of the seat, if only the pan is left it would be a good investment. It's funny but if a tractors cosmetics aren't good they just don't seem to draw the interest that a nice shiney one might.

If the tractor is clean and straight, and looks well maintained you could raise your price, 9,500 would not be a bad place to start, you could always come down. If you don't have the right people looking at it 3,500 might be to high. ....

Art, I find it fun to watch the seats on tractors. When I see a cheap replacement seat on one, ok they skimped there so where else did they? Realize that is not 100% accurate but if a person does not care about comfort...either they have hired help on that machine they also don't care about or else that was only seat they could find at the time (only type one local shop stocks). It does amaze me a person will put a machine for thousands on dollars for sale and the seat is such no one is able to sit on it and test it comfortable. ....
