I've been haveing problems with my tc45d blowing the main fuse. One time it blew after the glow plug cycled and now it will blow as soon as I turn the key.Any help would be appreciated.

You will see too many posts here about this issue--mine is included.

Some have installed higher value fuses; some have installed self-resetting circuit breakers (about $8 at the auto parts)

Me, I installed a metal hitch pin to replace the fuse. This gives me added protection against thieves since I remove the pin and tuck the pig tail back inside the firewall. ....

Do you mean a solid metal pin? ....

Yup. It is sometimes called a hitch pin or hair pin--kinda U-shaped with one straight leg that normally goes through the actual hitch pin or any rod hole and the other leg with a couple curves or waves that keeps it in place. Think: a cotter pin with one wavey leg. ....
