What are some opinions on a block heater for Kubota tractors?
One dealer in my area includes a block heater with all new tractors, and says that a block heater is a plus for engine life in cold climates. The other dealer doesn't include a block heater, and says they are no longer needed with the new glow plug technology. I'm in NH where it can get down to -10F at times, and this is my 1st tractor purchase, so I need some help on this one :)

They're both right. What with glow plugs, decompression, and multi-viscosity oil, you don't NEED it to start, but using it on the colder days adds a bit of life to the battery, starter, and engine. And reduces the warmup time. ....
