I am looking at buying a JD 503 bush hog to used on my Kubota L2850. The unit looks ok with the normal rust and ware. The guy wants $250 for it and I am considering it. Do anyone know anything about these cutters and will it fit my Kubota OK.

Duke; The 503 is not a familliar model number to me, I have an MX5. Deere built most everything from super heavy duty to light duty cutters. If it is in decent shape and it fits your tractor 250.00 isn't much for a decent cutter in todays market. I'm sure Deere would have parts forever for it too, Frank. ....
