I have a B21 which is the perfect size for me. I got it with a 12" backhoe bucket but now feel I need a larger one. Kubota sells a 10", 12", 16",24",30", and 36" bucket for this TLB. Has anyone used a 16" or larger on the B21? I would question that the digging power would lesson with a larger bucket especially 24" and up.

Please share your experiences.

Your going to feel anything bigger- your machine might work okay, but you will definately feel it. As far as how well your macine will work will depend on what you are digging. ....

Bunnspecial,

Up to about 16 inches, you shouldn't have any trouble digging.

The larger buckets are designed primarily for cleaning out drainage ditches that have become plugged with silt, weeds, or trash.

Larger buckets also work well for filling dump trucks with loose soil, sand, gravel, etc.

My local plumber uses a 12" bucket on his backhoe for digging sewer drain fields. He switches to a 36" bucket when clearing out drainage ditches that have become plugged with silt and weeds.
