I have had a bitch of a time keeping my JD 46 BH in the air, while the engine was running. I have complained to the Dealer and was told dropping an inch per minute was within JD's specs. I have called and written JD and now after all of this. JD came a got my 4115, took it away, replaced the valve in the 46 BH and gave me some super service. I know it took a while and it is understandable that JD or anyone else, for that matter will only react when they have a solution. the 4115 is great and only problem I have had in 200 hrs is the BH dropping while the engine is running. Thanks JD

It was the SCV or Selective Control Valve. On the back of the BH is a set of about 8 blocks of Valves, and one of them which served the Main Piston was replaced. Supposedly what I was told was JD went to a different Manufacturer for these valves, about 5 years ago. Guess the tolerance dropped below spec and low and behold the 46 BH suffered. I could not believe that with 130 degree Hydralic temp, that a drop of the main boom of one inch per minute, with the Engine running was acceptable by anyone's standard. I bought Green cuz I wanted the ruggedness that is suppose to be with the name. My only complaint with my New 4115 and its attachments was the drop of the BH boom. I am Happy. ....
