I traded a 2910 for my tc33.
I noticed right away that the 33 ran out of power
in mid range way too soon for my liking.
Especially with the backhoe on.I'm pretty frustrated
because I thought the 33 would be stronger.
Anybody wanna coment on this?

I'm assuming, correct me if I'm wrong, a TC33 is a HST.
Unfortunately, with a HST, one of the drawbacks of a HST is that you have limitations on the speeds at which you have peak power. I have noticed with my own units (Kubota's) there are times when mid-range full power is too slow, and high range full power is too fast.
One of the cases where 8 or 12 gears is preferable.

Something you may want to look into is the torque rating for the engine. Different engine set-ups torque out at different rpm's. Generally a 3 cylinder will torque out at a lower rpm than a 4 cylinider, and usually in both cases at about 75% of hp rated rpms. In other words, if you are used to the 4-cylinder Kubota, you may find the tc torques out at a lower rpm than the Kubota did. In all cases, your maximum pulling power will be with the throttle set at about 75-80% of rated hp rpm. If the New Holland is a 3 cylinder, it will probably torque out at a lower rpm than your Kubota did.

Check your fuel filter and air filter. Make sure your fuel is not gelling. ....

JACKRABBIT: I have a TC33D HST and I find the power is well-matched to the machine. Rarely have I actually stalled it under load--and then it was my fault for being in the wrong range. I have towed my 5-yd dump trailer overflowing with sand and clay (probably 15,000lb. load inc. trailer) in 2nd range on a level gravel road (not the smartest thing to do). I can pull a 2-bottom plow in solid clay in 1st with no problems, and a full 6" box scraper in 2nd. It will lose traction before the engine starts to even bog down.
I have noticed though it will slow or bog down if the rear hydraulic remote lever is not fully-centered. The 3pt won't lift either---likely the hyd. pump is going into relief mode slowing the pump.
A plugged fuel filler cap vent that doesn't vent properly will cause loss of power too.

Hey thanks for reply,I took my boomer back to dealer
to get checked out. I should know next week .
The kubota That I had was a hydro,although I realize
that it was a lighter machine, it got around alot
better in mid range.The tc33 seems to lose power too
soon ,like in mud,you can't get up enough steam to get
through,and when you drop down into low,you're going
too slow,and then your stuck ....
