That is a normally problem with that model of tractor and the 100 series. Instead of me typing the fix out, just look at Big Dean's page. Yes, a mid PTO was available. Matter of a fact I have a new gear box for the mid PTO in my extra parts. I can't tell you what they are worth, but you can look at tractorhouse.com for prices. I had a MF 1250 for a few years. It was a good tractor.

I don't know the layout of your place, but any area that is over about 15* needs to be traversed up and down only. Even at 15* you have to make sure that there is no large rocks,logs or dips. An obstacle like that can change the angle from safe to dangerous really fast.

All you have to do to flush the hoe is to leave the return end off of the line. Then move all of the control levers. That will flush the backhoe completely. As you extend and retract the cylinders there will be quite a bit of fluid that is expelled. You will need a suitable container to catch the oil. There is no reason for the tractor to over heat. It sounds like your dealer just wants to sell you some more expensive stuff. I didn't realize that you were wanting to put it on a Kubota, but that doesn't make any difference. The kit that you would need is called a power beyond kit. It allows the two backhoe hoses to be attached to the tractor.

The best engine heater that I have ever used is a tank type heater. The only problem with a tank heater is that they take up more room than other heaters, but they work better. They heat the water and circulate it through the motor. You can touch anywhere on a engine when it is 0 degrees out and it will be warm.

I don't know if it is common for the GC2300 or not, but you may have to have the RPM's up some.

First thing to always check is to see if all of quick disconnects are connected properly. Sometimes brush can grab one and almost disconnect it. It may look connected right and not be.

Make sure the tooth is seated real well, then tack weld it on both sides. I have done them this way for years and it works. If it is not seated good, you will break the tack when you go to use it. It it is seated good, you won't have any problems.

If you look at a compact Mahindra and then look at a MF 1200 series(Iseki TK models) you will notice that they are a like. The Mahindra compacts are Iseki from the fire wall back. The engine and front axle are of some other orgin as far as I can tell.

That is a very good cash crop. If you can pull of one crop you can retire. Last week, about a half a mile from my house the sheriff made a raid. They picked 13,000 plants.:)

The MF backhoe for your tractor is a fine piece of equipment. I have had one for about three years now and you wouldn't believe what I have dug through. It digs through very hard clay and flint rock very well. The sub-frame is made to attach to your MF mid loader mount. You will notice a hole below the loader on the mount on each side, that is where the sub-frame pins on. Those are the only two pin locations to attach the backhoe. The installation and removal will only take about 15 minutes after you get use to it.

They do have some similar designs. But I am like you I don't know which came first. I would assume that both have been in production prior to coming to USA.

You need cat 2 bushing, not cat 3. Get them at your dealer for a dollar or so each or from TSC.

If your area in not any bigger that that, Lowe's and HomeDepot has a 4-5 inch magnet on a long handle. It works pretty well. The kids and I have used a couple of them quite a bit.

I know what I would do. But it is not what has been suggested (except for Art about the moldboard). I would buy a GOOD used moldboard plow, two bottom. That would get you down below the sod and break everything up really well. Then I would use a 7 shank field cultivator. Everyone around here calls them a tiller. They are real good for working a garden also. Not only will this work, but it would save you some money,
