Thanks Guys for the advice, I think I will take your advice
and build this hayrack for function and show. I do like
Harvey's idea of useing knotty pine. Hardwood since you are
computer challenged..LOL..I'll stop by someday and check
that hayrack out when I get in the area...of course I'm
sure you will heading to the field in a couple weeks.

I started looking for a tractor in earnest about 6 weeks ago. I scoured tractor point for all kinds of information. Nearly bought a Kioti, but my neighbor who's a contractor pointed me to New Holland. I went to look at a gear trans tractor, but test drove a 45 hp hydrostat with 16LA loader ($24K), then drove a used TC45DA with supersteer (700hrs $18K), then found a third dealer who had an '03 leftover. If you haven't tried the hydrostat trans, you'll be amazed at how ergonomically you can set up a NH hydro/loader setup. I bought the 03TC45DA with 16LA and set of remotes out the door for just over $20K and 0% for 3 yrs. I also bought a NH 105 6'tiller and a 72" Ag Meier med duty shredder at a local auction last weekend. Your advice to all the other posts helped a lot. Thanks and Kudos on a nice site.<br>

Ken, your CRS must not be near as bad as mine. I spent a couple of hours researching on this and found the Kubota Quadary post and that was the only reference I could find along with the legal post from Kubota.

Bottom line as I remember it was that Kubota and his dealer really did this poor guy dirty rotten. When I spoke my peace about it when I was posting over there; the JBT's sent me the warning and threat PM's.

One slight flaw in that logic David. Travis indicated his choice was limited to two tractors: a 30 year old grey market Japanese for $3900 - or a brand new Chinese for $3500. <br>

I have a BX22. I hope this question isn't to stupid, but I was wondering if anyone has had experience with using a cat 1 bale spear on a 4'x4' round bale, approx. 700lbs.? I don't need to lift it very high, only bring it to its resting place and then push it up on end into the feeder. I have been using the bucket and rolling it like a big ball of yarn. That can get messy in the wrong weather. Any feedback is appreciated.

If you mean tilt as in setting one side of the blade higher than the other (example- to put crown in a driveway) the answer is yes they are availible.

Maybe every HST is not as good as the next, but I can't figure out when someone thinks Hst is less of a machine. I guess it is lack of real world experience. If HST in not so great, why is it the used in the top end John Deere dozers and track loaders? Why is it used without any other option is Kubota's Flagship industrial duty L48 TLB, and their industrial line of articualated loaders? Why don't skid loaders have a glide shift or a clutch? (could you imagine) Maybe guys who spend 8+ hour days, 5+ day weeks, in the operators seat, and nowhere else, know what works best. I am not one of these guys, but I agree with what is being produced. I had a Kubota L48 for two years and loved it. I have a Kubota R520 articulated and it is as close to perfection as any machine I have driven. It is common to see 6,000 hours on one and life left to give. Nothing is more gentle to operate and nothing is easier on the machine. The hydraulics buffer the rest of the drive train more than any other tranny. Any one watching the path of large farm tractors, some are going with a cvt. Continuously variable transmission. Not quite a HST but offers less power loss for heavy tillage.

Do you mean the problem occurs only when steering and loader lift operations occur simultaneously? Or is the loader always weak?

A bad hydraulic connection? Maybe you could swap the lines to the lift and roll cylinders and see if the problem reverses itself.

Looking for a Parts Manual for the Woodchipper that Jinma sold for the pto of their 20-40hp tractors. Would be glad to pay for any copying charges. I'm trying to build one. I'm Told, they are a copy of the old Wagner units that where used with the Ford 8N's.

I never built a Cadplans loader, but I did build a Cadplans backhoe a few years back that worked quite well.

My Kubota BX23 FEL pops right off wihout tools. It even has these dandy little legs to hold it in position after it is detached.

I have the 7800 and think it's a great tractor. But, the Kioti CKs are really nice. Test them both and see which one feels better for you. Talk to the dealer and make sure you are comfortable with the service you are going to get.

All else equal, and owning a 7800 I really like, I would vote for the Kioti.

Talk is that Kubota will be bringing the "30" series to the B Line-up that will include some of the newer technology and a fresh style. I would bet they know what they are after, and have a decent idea how to get there.

As far as upgrading the 7800, it isn't any different than any other enthusiest notion, buy something and tinker with it. Some people enjoy the challenge.

I've read several comments about the cross-bar on the Kubota B Loaders banging the hoods. I've had my loader on and off so many times, I can't figure out how I could hit the hood with the bar. Can anyone tell me how you hit the hood with the bar? At least I would know what to look out for.

I bought a used 970 this past spring with 300 hours. I spent over $100 for the operators' manuals for tractor, loader and backhoe. They are worth getting if you don't have them already.

Good luck with the machine. I can't believe the work it can do.

This cab used hole already there. He did not order it with heat so i do not know where that would be located. I do believe that they are mounted on the roof/ceiling but am not sure. Total install time was about three hours. It comes fully assembled. You just lift it up drive under it and lower it in place.

It is not that I can not afford therapy, it is that right now work is demanding many long hours and I do not have the time at this point. I am currently looking for a phyc. that will suit my needs. Like every thing else I like to shop around and get local referrals. For me church is not really an option I lost my faith a few years ago seeing too many good people hurt or killed for no apparent reason. I do believe in a higher power though at this point i do not know what that higher power may be. There are thousands of religions out there and the basis of them all is a higher power which ever it may be so maybe I am safe in my belief maybe I will burn but who is to say.

Anyway thank you all for your comments and advice I know I will make it through this time in life just as i have in the past. Some times the stress just gets too high and I do not know where to turn.

It is easier to talk to you guys probably because you are all faceless nameless strangers in the most part.

Hey, guys, I bought and installed that on my Kubota L2550DT about 4y ago. It is exactly that unit in the TSC photo, but it usually has "Mixer80" written on the drum. I will try to drum up some pix to add to my profile. I no longer have the 2550, but I will install the mixer on another Kubota soon. The long and short of it is: it works very well, but it took a lot of work to get there. It comes with a crappy SINGLE-ACTING top link cylinder, without swivel balls on the ends. First thing I had to do is modify the cylinder to be double-acting. The whole thing is made in Italy, and no hydraulics supplier in my area could match the bizzaro hose fittings. So more modifications. I have now bent the cylinder rod 2x cuz one of the hole positions on the drum causes interference with the cylinder at full dump. Good thing I had a 12T pipe bender. I plan to change over to some REAL hyd toplinks I bought recently.

I mixed all the stucco for the house I built, as well as dozens of loads of concrete for small projects. I love how I can drive it up to my gravel and sand piles, then dump the concrete exactly where I want it.

I do think DRANKIN is right that you ideally need a CUT with 24" rear wheels or dumping will be harder. I may try the mixer on my JD955 to see how it works--it has only 16" rears.

My biggest complaint after getting it all working is that even at idle, I can not run the drum slow enough. (I like to mix very stiff mud.)

I estimate that the machine weighs 300# empty, and about 1100-1200# full. I have about $1000 in it, including the remote valve I added. It has paid for itself 10x over.
