I also believe the mixer you are referring to requires a hydraulic top link for the dump mechanism to work. That would mean you need rear remotes, or run the hydraulic link off a loader circuit. You should not only check the lift capacity of the three point, but also be sure that the three point will lift high enough for the dump to work properly and the alignment of the pto drive shaft is good.

They have been electronically limiting cars for a while. I think some of it has to do with getting the most out of smaller engines by using lower geared transmissions. My Focus is electronically limited to 106 mph which I am assuming is to protect the engine. It does work as I had to find out. The Buick Grand National GNX (when it was the fastest production car made in America) also had a limiter back in the day if my memory serves me correct. I don't see a problem with the limiters and would welcome them as it would probably cut down on accidents. As far as big brother, it's no big deal if you aren't doing anything wrong. Before I could get my current job, I had to be fingerprinted and have a background check performed. They also still monitor our phone and computer on a regular basis.

Thanks for your thoughts. Sounds like my next step is to drain and check the fuel tank and blow out the lines. It's a bear on the IH-4X4 series! It has a saddle shaped tank behind the seat with cross over lines and limited access to feeder fuel lines.

When I first lost power I checked the fuel cap to see if it was pulling a vacuum. It was not the problem. The power/RPM loss first occured under load, but when I released the PTO the problem persisted, so it does not appear to be tied to the PTO load.

The throttle seems to be working; I do have good access to the throttle lines, not sure how to adjust the max no-load rpm. Why would it suddenly be this far out of adjustment?

I had a problem with a neighbour when I was in the city. Well, he had problems with me too, but his tactics weren't at all direct and drove me wild.

After talking with my lawyer to check my legal responsibilities in the situation I talked to a community relations outfit in the police department. They referred me to a community organisation that provided conflict resolution services. Basically, the organisation contacts all parties to agree to accept mediation services and provided a panel of experienced mediators.

I imagine the mediation takes various forms but ours required us to write out a description of the problem and both appear together before the panel to present the problem. The panel prepared a summary in the form of a non-binding contract that was signed. I agreed to do some things and so did my neighbour. We both gained something but neither of us entirely got our own way.

I can't say the services rendered us buddies or anything, but the mediation did manage the problem and likely far better than a legal route. The big thing is that you appear before the panel and the other party alone--no hired mouthpieces and arcane legal stuff to muck up a solution. The trouble with legal routes is that then tend to produce one winner who is judged 'right or damaged' and one looser who is judged wrong. The real world is seldom that clear.

You're basically working on a 200 series 25 horse 4wd Jinma tractor; most commonly referred to as a JM254. Be forewarned though, you're probably going to waste a lot of time if you expect to find many green or yellow parts. It was pretty much a proprietary color scheme of the since-bankrupt AgraCat outfit<br>

Were the detents checked the balls on the shift rails or one that's part of the linkage? Too bad the gear clearances weren't checked as long as you were in there although I can't see a connection. I wonder how you get it released after it locks up. I imagine the TX isn't synchromesh so the tractor is stopped when shifting. I'd try it in 2wd if it has 4wd. I'd also try to reason what about an incline might do it. Does it also happen if the front end is lifted with the loader?

I'm new here but I own a 110 TLB and love it. The creep feature is priceless. The hydrostatic transmission won't allow the machine to roll by pushing or pulling with the backhoe (like the larger 310's). The hoe does have enough nuts to pick itself up and move but relocating that way is not always possible. I don't know how other brands of hydrostatic transmission machines move from the backhoe operator's seat but I suspect it's difficult.

Thanks for the nice comment, the siding is T-111 as you see it but G/F is in charge of painting it, perhaps tomorrow she will start priming it to match the other bldg!
I have 220V 50 Amps in the little bldg and will bring it and lights over to the addition as far as water is concerned I Pump water from the lake for irrigation and have a tap just on the other side of the back wall but really don't need it inside the bldg as I drain (purge the system dry in the winter) actually run 3 zones of 8 sprinklers each at 40# pressure with a 1 1/2 Jet irrigation pump and auxiliary feed it with a deep well pump 13 stage HP in the lake.
In other words It spews water all over Gods little acre and the only cost is the electricity to energize the pumps twice a day for 30 minutes per zone for a total of 1 1/2 hours morning and evening!

The situation Chief describes is what I have. I bought a 4310 with 72" mmm, 430 loader, etc specifically to be a balanced all-around machine. I use it to mow about 3 acres of lawn. But it is not that good for mowing around some of the 500 trees we planted this spring. I can get really close to them but the tractor is very big for going in between them. A lot of my yard is open so it works awesome for that. Cut quality is pretty darn close to my JD 325 with 54" deck. But we kept the JD 325 specifically for mowing in the tighter areas like around the trees and in the very front yard where things are planted willy-nilly. I love the machine, but with trees and such I would have a hard time using it as the solo mower. I bought it to cut the mow time on the big areas. It really does that!!

Snow removal. I've got 3-5 ft drifts because of the way my property lays and the typical winter weather in my area. I do not use a blower because the person who built the house used large diameter landscape rock at the top of the driveway instead of gravel. So it doesn't compact and really wrecks snowblowers. The last two winters I used an Oliver 550 with a loader and a 6 ft blade. Worked ok until the one tire went flat. One major problem was the 2 wheel drive. It got stuck often. Then we got the wet snow. I got stuck really bad. Hence the new 4310 with 4 wheel drive. I haven't tried it in snow yet. But am expecting it to be better than the Oliver.

My long winded point is to seriously consider the main, number 1 use of the machine. If mowing is your thing, maybe you need to tolerate the X575's performance for snow removal. I had to do that with my Oliver. It wasn't great, but was the best that I had so I made do and it worked. Just took longer than I would have liked. If your main thing is snow removal and you can accept poorer handling for mowing or have something else to do the fine detail mowing, then maybe the 4210/4310 is a good thing.

This is getting really long, but I went with the 4310 vs the 4210 for the additional power. A co-worker is running a JD utility tractor at about 25-27 hp. It bogs down for him when mowing and going uphill. I live on a hill so I wanted as much power as I could get to prevent that from happening. It doesn't except when I ignore my responsibilities and the grass gets a foot tall or so. So that's why I went with the 4310 vs the 4210. Plus I think the 4310 has slightly more mass for moving snow. I couldn't justify the 4410 for the additional $ my dealer wanted.

Oneace - I considered getting the stock kubota enclosed cab when I bought my L3130 but then it is permanent. I am thinking about buying one of these sims cabs though for it. Where would I have to drill the holes on my Kubota to install that cab? Second question is how / where do you mount the heater unit?

I appreciate all the comments on my posting. Out of all only one doesn't seem to thinks that this is good deal. I am going to be talking to the dealer tomorrow and try to negoiate a couple of additional items added to the TC45, such as a front brush guard and a rear remote. If I can get him to throw these items in I have pretty much desided to go with the TC45. He has also offered a New Kubota L4330 DT with a 723 FEL otherwise equiped the same as the TC45. Any additional comments will be appreciated.

To paulss and My young friend Oneace(Tony)and an open letter to all who have posted on this thread attempting to help a fellow member when he originally Boldly asked for help!!

1. This thread has not taken a decidedly negative turn, it has in fact had the exact impact, experience has taught me that it would have!

2. If I have a gee-whiz, dandy life it is only through hard work, survived three years of active combat and all it entails (read a full military career and had to move lock-stock& barrel 21 times in the course of that career (incidentally while raising a family and keeping a marriage together), applying my god given talents and never ever looked to others to solve the problems it was in my purview as a man to solve for myself!

3.Tony is doing well financially but just how long will it be till his uncontrolled outbursts cause him to lose that job and that security?

3.A reaction from this young man other than whining and blaming all things other than himself is and was exactly what was needed and is precisely what I gave him!!

4.You and other well minded posters are unquestionably better equipped to counsel Tony than I am and I will leave it up to all of you to carry on. I got his attention and you will do him a great disservice if he himself and well minded people allow him to revert to the way he was just a few days ago!!

5. The big difference in what I do and act is "I don't just hope someone can do something I know damn well they can do it and it is incumbent on me to make them! Let's be honest if I can cope with the cards life dealt me as well as many others (I won't bore you) then surely this young man can handle this self imposed pity party!

Don't discount the posibility you may have uneven tire pressure. This could be a cuase. I am sure you checked it but if they are off a few pounds on each side that will cause it to pull to one side. I have a BX2200 2001 and have had no problems other than leaky tires on one side to cause exactly what you mention.
