I am semi dyslexic and usually I have 1000 thoughts running at the same time and it is hard to concentrate on one at a time. I do not know what is wrong with me I have never been to see a doctor but I probably should. I may have adult ADD but I tend to think that is a made up illness?

I would say early spring or late fall. Those are usually the slow periods for most businesses there for making it easier to for around it.

Brokenarrow, I have the KK YR-60, and it was under $400.00. I clean up construction sites, prep before sod, and it takes a beating. The tines came 5 to a pack for about $35.00 I'am thinking. I've replaced 3 since I've bought it, and it is used atleast twice weekly. The week following Hurricaine Charlie, it worked everyday. I don't feel I went wrong with it. Good luck.

fatboyvc, a good practice is to keep the rpms up at full pto rpm (2600) when you are really calling on the tractor to push the limits. This keeps the hydrostatic pump at maximum efficiency and ability to push hyd. oil. When you hit the limits of the hydrostatic transmission and the engine with respect to loading it down the rpms will RAPIDLY fall off almost to what appears to be stalling the engine if you continue. The 4110 does not have Load Match if I recall correctly (with my CRS that is a 50/50 proposition) ;o) so you need to watch the rpms a bit closer so you don't stall the engine. The hydrostatic trans will definitely whine when you load it to the limits. Much more than it normally does. Sounds to me like you need a lot more tractor or a dozer.

I have been shopping for a top and tilt kit myself. Integrationengineering.net, Terrain Contour Control, complete kit was quoted at 1250.00, you install. I checked w/dealer and he will install complete top and tilt kit with kubota valves and all hardware for 1450.00. What do ya'll think?

Just joined tonight from Lake Fork. Saw a Kioti on the side of the road today that sparked my interest and posted a question to the board. DK50c w/FEL. Maybe you priced those new while you were shopping?? If so, your advice would be appreciated on the thread. BTW, where did you get your tractor and was the dealer good?? Thanks.

I noticed a 2003 DK50c for sale today and stopped to check it out. Very nice rig. FEL with standard 72" bucket. A quick inspection and drive around the field left me impressed. The tractor was purchased last year and has a total of 73 hours on the meter. Everything seems real tight on the machine. The owner is getting divorced and has to part with his toy... He told me he paid $28,000 for the setup last year and will take $21,500. Is that a good price for a one year old Kioti with cab and FEL? Seems good to me. Also, is Kioti planning to discontinue the DK50c since the DK55c seems to be the newer model??<br>

Frank is right, but it's important to know that an adjustable top link is no panacea. I've encountered three types of implement incompatibilities for which an adjustable top link wouldn't have helped. What I do is shop for implements that are I-Match compatible and have those that aren't compatible modified to work. If I had to do it over again I'd have to think hard on whether it was worth it, but I must say it sure is nice when everything works with the quick hitch.

Thanks Guys for the info I just came in from working on the
L2550, I have a voltage regulator going out. It will charge
sometimes and not other times took the cover off and put pressure on the contacts and it will charge. Just something else to work out. The trans, you do have to press the clutch to change gears. Tried it also. Pup

The CK series from Kioti is bigger than the BX, and really is not a sub-compact. It compares in size to the B-series Kubotas, and eaven a little heavier. Both are nice tractors, you should test them both and decide what you will be using it most for. For a TLB, the Kioti may be a little more comfortable.

Can't speek directly for the new XL, but I would think the BX would serve you much better. Landscaping with a garden tractor can be done, but probably not the best choice for the job. I think you would find the loader lacks what you need.

But again, the newer models might be different. Simplicities are built in the US, in Port Washington, Wis.

there is a link to the archives it is from th kubota forum but the general idea is there. I personally like mid mount mowers but others like the rear mounts. It depends on what you are used to and what kind of land you have.

That is about the right price. Those are the same as a New Holland.

Sorry about not getting back to you sooner but I have been away for a couple of months. Happly, I traded my 4000 in on a 31 HP gas 4200. The tractor runs like a dream and has many improvements over the 1st generation 4000 that I bought.<br>

I must say that Ventrac has done many things to keep me happy as a owner of one of their tractors. Someone made a comment about R&D in the field by their customers. I don't know about that, but I do know that I have owned a Ventrac as long as they have been in business and would not even consider anything else currently on the market today. <br>
