I have an Allis 6140 4WD the three point will not lower. The thing lowers when shut off but as soon as you start the tractor it will raise and levers won't lower it.

If you go with Wayne at LMTC in OH...don't worry! I purchased a 3510 off of him last October. I have over 75 hours on my 3510 TLB now. As for the loader..the quickconnect bucket is a must have...just need some forks for it too! I don't advise it, but I have lifted over 2000 lbs w/ it. As long as you have counterweight (like a backhoe) it will do it! I luv this tractor!

I have hauled concrete for other contractors with a medium size backhoe loader. I can haul a 1/2 yd safely. It's not the way to go. I now use a large New Holland skidloader with a dirt bucket for hauling concrete. It's got a 2-speed drivetrain so my cycle time is really quick. However, to answe your question, there is a bucket attachment available that looks like a funnel (a buddy has one). There are several on the web that make them. Some, like my buddy's, has a hydraulically-operated gate valve. These buckets are called "mud buckets". They are really intended for bobcats loaders that can afford the extra weight of the attachment. I beleive wet concrete weighs anywhere from 2800 to 3200 lb.
Pumping seems like the way to go. Even a "mud buggy" (power wheel barrow probably won't have the right funnel shape to be effective.

The best I have done so far on my 2000 3/4ton auto 3.54 gear truck has been 18.6 mpg. I have never seen twenty even on the turnpike.

I have a 4x4 33hp New Holland. And I'm a snow plowing contractor in Michigan. I wouldn't even consider using a tractor, or even a bobcat (skidsteer loader--have one too) to plow snow. It's not practical considering the weight of the tractor not to mention traction---let alone stopping. For the price of a good plow setup you can buy a 4x4 truck with a plow. I have even seen guys with 2wd dually trucks weighted down plowing---but there's nothing like 4wd when it comes to snow and ice. I use a 8-1/2' BOSS v-plow on my '03 Dodge diesel and love it. It's made in the upper penninsula of Michigan where snow is measured in yards, not feet, or inches.

i'm booked for the first week in August next year. i like then best. the skitters are not bad at all in late summer. in early june you can catch a hundred a day in the river easy but there smaller and the sketters are BAD BAD BAD. the kag lake also has lake trout and northern pike, a 52 inche pike has been taken from this lake. if you ever do go north take a portable depth finder, it will help you catch many more fish by finding the drop offs underwater. check out their website for plenty of photos and info.

Bradco makes a 3pt trencher. My local dealer (Michigan) had used one on consignment for $4700---said it was $7000 new.
I have a Case DH5 trencher with backhoe and backfill blade for sale, 4 cyl. diesel, articulating, 4 wheel drive, new batt./fuel pump/starter, extra cutting teeth, set up for 8" wide but can trench from 2" all the way up to 16" in one pass. It's not a toy. Engine is suppose to be same one used in dozers and backhoes if anyone needs a good engine donor. I'd take $5500. (734) 782-2125 Southeast of Detroit.

I am looking to sell or trade-in my L3130 HST & LA513 loader with 150 hours and AG tires to purchase another Kubota possibly the MX5000. I am creating a lot of food plots and need the additional HP that the MX5000 offers for plowing and other implement work. My questions are as follows:<br>
1 - value in selling/trading the L3130 HST & LA513 loader?<br>
2 - Expected selling price on the MX5000 & LB 702 loader with AG tires?<br>
3 - Is the MX5000 the right tractor for my hobby farm work? I have seen previous threads discussing the 4900's?

How deep could you drill with that Land Pride 10? I just finished up on 1100 feet of fence with a PHD on my 7800. Because of the frost level here, I had to dig 42", which was everything the lift on that 7800 had to so the auger would clear the ground. Are you limited to 32" of auger?

Mine are the smae way. I agree with harvey, I have one of the kids push the arms down while holding the 3-point control in the down position. The weight of the arms alone isn't enough to get them to lower.

If that doesn't work, take advantage of that dealer visit.

By the way, that is a sweat Farmall Cub you've got there. What is the large white canister for? I haven't seen that on other Cubs.

I know this sounds simple, but over 20 yrs ago, I had a <br>
B-7200 HST....it kept heating up and the motor would stop.....I called the dealer out, and he said that it was nothing.......every time this happened, I would bleed the fuel system which took me about 10 to 15 minutes.....They told me it was in the fue system....and sure enough after I would bleed the system, it would start and run for about 30 more minutes while I was cutting......This was all in the summer....and it gets very hot here in the summer.......after about 6 weeks of this happening over and over again......I figured out that the motor was overheating and SEIZING-UP! it had time to cool off as I was bleeding the fuel system!....the fan belt appeared to be on tight, but was slipping and not turning the water pump enought to cool the engine!!!! They compression tested the motor and said it was in great shape....but I never trusted that mechanic again......I was the real reason I traded that tractor in on a new, at that time, B8200 HST....Which is now twenty years old.....SO CHECK AND REPLACE THAT BELT......

No offense taken. A few years ago, Montana didn't have a speed limit but ticketed on the basis of unsafe driving. That means the Highway Patrol could stop drivers for any number of reasons, including driving too fast for the conditions of the road.

I an considering ordering a 55 and a 72 hp4x foton/futian with cabs and loaders. I am concerned they may not meet epa and get held up in customs. do they need epa? I am a mspts rep and go to China every year so I will probably go to the factory in Oct and check it out. has anyone done this?
