I just found out that the Readily Available Fram PH3593A oil filter is a<br>Direct replacement for the Yanmar 119660-35150 oil filter. My Mitsubishi D2050<br>had this Yanmar filter on it there for this applies to some Yans, and Mits<br>tractors. This filter is $2.53 at Wal-Mart.<br>

Wouldn't have to go that far. Just get Kubota to get rid of the clutch and put the brakes on that side. (I'm disabled and can't use my left leg continuously) I do use the brakes occasionally which I can manage as long as it is not offten. Other than that I like the Orange just as much as the Green.<br>David

MLS, <br>Why is it obvious that the NH TC21 was lagging behind...was it just because of the dealer? I own a TC18 and my machine stats out better than the 4100 and the B2100 in some areas. I was also able to find a great dealer and a great price. Please give more info, I'm sure it's not obvious to other NH owners as well as other readers of this board.

What he saw was a Yardman Tractor with a Kwik-Way Loader and Backhoe. Kwik-Way makes loaders and backhoes for just about all makes of garden tractors and small Compacts. <br>They do not have a site on the web, but can be reached at 1-800-843-3720.<br>I am not a rep for Kwik-Way, just looked into them a while back.

sc L4310 , user friendly -- designed for various utility task as well as a good performer in the ag sector.

Is there any reason other than price to avoid low M series and go with high end L series?
sc - trans.(HST,DT,GST) options, user friendliness, on/off made easier for us old folks, cab options, tight turns, hands free operation for ORCHARD SPRAYING with WAND duties, inexperienced operators training and safety, hauling advantages, more hp in smaller package.
M4700 looks more like a farm tractor to me,
sc -- you got it
and is not that much bigger in size or wheelbase.
sc -- "that much," sometimes an inch may as well be a mile. It will either fit your tightest dimension or it will not. You should try to plan ahead to avoid "expensive surprises."

Anyway some have said that I could just get L2350 for $8500 used and its fine, but implements seem to be quite restricted as to their ability, and I will be doing things around the farm, and it seems like if one is going to have a loader it should be able to load some heavy stuff.
sc -- If you "buy right and at good value" and error in size/model selection you can trade without taking a "hit". The key is good planning and buying a good value. Avoid purchasing implements that will not hold thier value or disadvantage you if you have to sell quickly.
It would be nice to have a bale option, but there are so many farmers around here that bale it really doesn't make a huge degree of sense to pay a lot for just this capability.

Thats a fair price for this tractor&mower.The RC-72B is a very good deck,this deck alone will retail for around $3,000.00.The loader is a little high though,you should able to buy the whole pkg. for around $14,500.00.The B2150 is a very good tractor,the only hang-up is;clearance of the mid-mount mower gauge wheels,but if you have a good yard to mow,thats not a problem.The 2150 will handle a 5'rotary cutter for the rest of the property with no problems.

I agree! The question is not whether your tractor can do it, but how long you want to take to do the job. I find it is better to hire someone with a big machine to do in a day what takes me weeks....or longer. There is a lot of work in the clean up and the smaller tractor excels there. <br> As for the bush hog, most have pivoting blades..

Thanks for all the advice and ideas. I think I've got a gameplan now. The farm/logging winch looks like a great idea and I'm following through on it. I think I'll put a front-end loader on the big, new tractor and run the compact with the FEL and the tiller. Still might need a stump grider though. It'll take time but we'll get it done. Once again, thanks for the help.

Ok, I have learned to simply 'flip' the stabilizer feet - thay work fine in dirt. I am very disappointed in the John Deere manuals for many reasons-simple stuff like this would be nice to see in a manual. Actually more imporatnt to me than including the spanish version !<br>Regarding 47 hoe vs 48, I pondered the choice quite awhile. I decided to buy the 47 - so far at least I have no regrets. It digs all that I want.

Jeff, I have the 46 horse Zetor (model 5211/3220). No complaints, reliable and strongly built. Deere, sells Zetors painted green outside this country. Mine is a 92 model, and the only parts that have had to be bought are the rubber boots around the shifter. If you have a dealer near by who can get you parts when you need them, they are a good deal. In my opinion, they are they best of the old soviet block tractors. Good luck. EZ

This was not a front mount, but a rear-mount pto setup...maybe we are not comparing apples to apples...I didn't price the front mount units.
