Does anyone have any info., price, etc., on a Yardman Backhoe? My brother told me about one he saw in his travels but I can't find anything on the 'net about it. It appears to be a small (20 hp) w/loader.

I've never heard of a Yardman backhoe. Makers of small backhoe loaders include Terramite (http://www.terramite.com), Dig-It (http://www.yazookees.com/Products/digit.htm) and Ingersoll (http://www.ingersoll-inc.com/loader.html). New equipment prices are $20k and up. I've seen them used in the $8-10k range. A less expensive option is to equip an existing tractor with a loader and/or backhoe from CADplans (http://www.cadplans.com). ....

What he saw was a Yardman Tractor with a Kwik-Way Loader and Backhoe. Kwik-Way makes loaders and backhoes for just about all makes of garden tractors and small Compacts. They do not have a site on the web, but can be reached at 1-800-843-3720.I am not a rep for Kwik-Way, just looked into them a while back. ....
