ARE THERE ANY LOADER AJUSTMENTS TO THE RELIEF VALVE ON A KUBOTA 481 LOADER? I WOULD LIKE TO INCREASE THE LIFT SLIGHTLY BUT SAFELY. KUBOTA L-3410

hook your gage directly or as close to directly to the valve. To check for leak by of the cyl. fully retract the cyl. then hook your gage into the base end of the cyl. with the tractor running stoke your boom lever to the lower or down position. As long as the cyl are fully retracted the gage should remain at a fairly low to no pressure. If it does move to a high pressure say 200 psi or higher then you have leak by and your cyl need repact.

I have a TC 24 with a 914A MMM (nice) and a Great Bend F.E.L. (piece of JUNK!).
They both work at the same time on the tractor with no problems.

I will say the Great Bend Loader is total crap.

Every single grease fitting was stripped, missing or broken.
Not user friendly.

If you can afford it, stay with the New Holland Brand name.

You do get what you pay for.
I paid for crap and received crap in return.

I agree with the main topic of the original post, that the deal from Tarheel is far better than that of any local dealer (here in Connecticut) by at least $3K to $4K.

The unfortunate story that everyone should beware of is the fact that the tractor I purchase has been nothing but a complete disaster since I received it from Tarheel. I have less than 50 hours on this tractor!!

The bozo that assembled the F.E.L. didn't tighten a single hydraulic line, the suspension system on the cushion lift for the MMM was never installed correctly, jamb-nuts were never installed, grease fittings were stripped, broken or missing, and now the steering doesn't work at all. I'm going to have to crawl in on my hands and knees to the local dealer and see if he'll help me with the steering issue. Every nut and bolt has losened up or fallen off the frame on the F.E.L. The bolt for the radiator support feel off and is missing, the hinge nut and bolt for the seat also fell of and is missing. All of which I had to go to the store, buy the missing hardware and replace. This has been the biggest mistake EVER!!!
I would have paind the extra $3k anyday.

Granted the jerk was fired, and Brandon was helpfull in getting me the cushion lift spring and nuts the first time they fell of, but after the aggravaition of dealing with the initial issue, I decied that this is my problem for trying to save a buck.

Buyers THINK TWICE, maybe THREE TIMES.
IS IT REALLY WORTH IT??

That is because the 4115 has different ballast requirements.

The 4115 is more than 6 inches longer and 300 pounds heavier. That may not sound like much but extending the wheelbase by 10 percent adds a lot of leverage to keep the rear end down.

I have had both..... the 4115 needs less ballast than the 4100.

I have a 2003 TC24 with less than 50 hours of use.<br>
Aside from a endless list of wierd problems,<br>
I have a major problem with the steering.<br>

Do any of you know what could go wrong with the steering<br>
on one of these? (9x3 manual geer shift TC24)<br>
The simptoms are:<br>
95 to 99% of the time the steering does not work<br>
It just stopped working all together.<br>
The steering wheel will go lock-to-lock with no action at the front wheels. It feels like the pump is avitating or something. Little to no feed-back in the wheel.<br>

If the tractor sits for 5 minutes the steering will work for about 15 seconds.<br>
<br>
RPM doesn't seem to effect the steering (bad or good).<br>
<br>
I checked the hydraulic fluid and it is full and clean.<br>
No problems with the operation of the F.E.L.<br>
<br>
I don't know what to do.<br>
Unfortunately I bought this tractor out of state, and I'm not sure how the local dealer will handle the warrenty issue since I didn't buy the tractor from him.<br>

I have a 98 1500 4X4 with about 105,000 miles. Had the Tranny rebuilt about 2 years ago ($2800). Still think there is a problem with the torque converter, but the repair place says no. Anyway. Last week she lost her mind ( THe truck not my wife, Although my wife may pending on what the repair shop says. Driving down the road the Emergency brake light came on, then the ABS light, then the Check enigine, then the Speedometer stopped working, the next day before I could get it to the shop, started it up and started down the road and it would not shift out of first gear. Let me tell you, it was a long drive at 2500 rpms to the repair shop. I am hoping it is sensors. but Like said earlier, I wish they would have left good enough alone and not put all this elecrtonic garbage on the vehicles. It causes more problems then it is worth.

Yo guys really help a fellow out!! I called the Dealer and told him I would take the Tractor. Its a shame I had to go 400 miles away to get the deal. Maloney John Deere, Fulton Ill. Good Honest people to deal with!

Visit the johndeere website, under the 90 series tractor, there is a 'compare' option on the drag down menu. You can compare the 790 to the Kubota B7800. They don't compare to the B2910, probably because the B7800 is the economy version of the 2910 that is more comparable to the 790.

Make sure the tractor has 4-wd if you plan to do loader work. Hope this helps.

You should always hook up the lower pin first. That way you can lift the 3pth up to level the implement. If you're not square to the implement, hook up one pin then move the tractor forward or back to square to the tractor.

Broken, I really never a problem breakin the sacifiers,but your machine is a bit heavier the my 790 was. I found that making a pass in one direction then crossing them to make like a tic tac toe board work really well. my new machine will do a much better job as I can angle blade up to get max depth on sacifiers with no lag on tractor at all (like it not back there)but haven't done a lot with it yet so hopefully I don't start wreckin the sacifiers. I think it will do real well on the weed field and even better on the pre plowed feild. All in all it's really not the correct tool but man does it work.

The polarity should be correct when you try it. Mine made a funny noise the first time I jumpered it, and then worked like new. I have mowed the lawn and field 3 times since and it has not even hinted at problems. Got that darn reverse mowing thing out of the way too.

The 1233 only came in one configuration. It has since been replaced by the 1428V. In the 1428v the overrunning clutch has been removed and a duel clutch has been installed instead. The 1433/and 1250 us a hydraulically activated pto clutch to run the pto and have a completely differenty chassis.

For nine months I've religiously folded the ROPS before backing the Kubota into the shed. It was bound to happen sooner or later. A piece of rope hanging from the ceiling got my attention as I was putting the tractor away and CRUNCH/RIP, the door header ended up at an unusual angle.<br>

The good news is I now have an eight foot door in place and I no longer have to fold/unfold the rollover protection each time I use it.<br>
<br>
This is not really a tractor project, more like a tractor CAUSED project. :-)<br>

I'm mostly concerned with cutting accross a slope or uneven terrain where two slopes intersect. Also when pulling the rottary cutter up a slope. Traction and stability is what I hope to gain. Not concerned so much about damage to the field. Thanks for your input, it is much appreciated.

Buyensell, I have had a jd970 for 15 years and purchased a new jd990 25 months ago. I am a gear driver,not as much to worry with in my opinion,I have only had one problem with 970 in 4500 hrs, the hydraulic pump cracked. Last week in her 25th month on my 990, the battery just died.My dealer just GAVE me another without question and it was out of warranty.

Excellent points. Thanks. The loader "float" hadn't even crossed my mind.

I think I'll look into adding the rear ports. Surely NH has an accessory kit to add this feature? I'll check with the local stealer.
