Hey Duc,
How about the new Durango Hemi? I think its alittle bigger than the old Durango and the GC. Not near Escalade size, maybe more like Expedition sized.

Yes, from comparing other tractors it does appear to be a lot of tractor.
Just wondering the opinion of others on this forum.
I should have it by Friday and I'm really looking forward to it. It is my first new Kubota.

Hi - Looing for information on a post hole auger digger that caused an injury to a client. Can anyone suggest a source of information for determining who produced a generic-appearing impliment?

I second the statement on larger tires. I would use nothing smaller than a �trailer tire� on a 14� wheel (15� would be even better). Anything smaller will not give you good service with the loads that you will be carrying. In addition, make sure they are �trailer tires�, a lot of these fly-by-nite small trailer fab shops will throw cheap small car tires on their trailers - Not a good idea.

When I was racing stock cars 15-years ago we had a 16 ft tandem axle trailer. With a full size car on it, tires, equipment, etc, it towed like a dream, very stable, very smooth. About 10-years ago, we sold the whole lot, and switched to dwarfcars. This is when I went with the single-axle trailer. The dwarfcar weighed 1000 lbs plus tires and equipment added maybe 800 lbs more. For 5-years, every Sunday night during the summer, I towed this rig 120 miles each way, including highway and gravel roads - Never had a single problem.

As an aside, You should have seen some of the garbage, others drug to the track. Some of these rigs would make your a** twitch. I saw full size cars towed to the track on single-axle trailers with the axle welded directly to the frame rails (if you could call them welds) - Very scary stuff.

No complaints here! Have had my BX23 about a month and put
18hrs on it. Have worked it hard pulling and digging up a
couple of 6" to 8" oak trees, Spread 25yrds sand and clay
mix.Just keep finding more things it can do.I looked hard
at others MF, NH, and JD. Glad I went with the BX!

JParker, why not cut your pasture the same way farmers plow, then you don't have to turn with the mower down. Cut a swath wide enough to turn around in at each end of the pasture, then just cut back & forth between the two areas of 'headlands'. Lift the 3pth a little to turn then set it back into the stopper to go back to cutting.

This also prevents those annoying little tufts of uncut grass in the corners and leaves a neater looking finish.

Save the rental money. If you spend the same money on a good airless sprayer, like a Graco, they have a long wand that will easily reach 16' up in the air. Besdies, then you own it for everything else you need to do in the future.

Depending on what your windows are like either mask them off through the opening or just spray them then clean the glass with a razor blade scraper after it dries.

I did my cottage that way two years ago, it took one full day, it took my neighbour 4 days with two people working full time.

On the Grand L caomparing it to the MX you are comparing two different types of tractors. The standard features will seperate them. The M-series is a full option larger frame tractor but it still doesn't offer the hydro but in most farm situations it isn't needed.

What is a KAMA Tractor? I've owned this Tai Shan for about a year i bought used it with clutch problems. Fixed the clutch problems with $4.00 in bolts and 4 hrs labor. and the tractor has not given any problems till now leaking engine oil into the clutch area. Help

A tractor running a bush hog should still be able to max it's RPMs. If it can't then it needs to be worked on.

Absolutely agree. If you read your warranty, you will find that the scheduled maintenance needs to be performed per the manual to keep your warranty in full force. Changing the filters without changing the break-in fluids and checking and cleaning the screen is not a good idea. Follow your manual's maintenace schedule to the letter.

Av8r - Good statement. My wife is a dye hard total dodge fan. She drove a dodge truck till we had kids, now she drives a durango. I like the durango but it is a gasaholic! Its got that new 4.6 i think V-8 in it, it's an 03'. Lots of power but uneconomical. My Ford diesel dump truck does better on fuel hauling a 20' trailer everyday with my Kubota on it. For me, Plowing is to consuming to buy a stick so the dodge wasn't an option.

Ken - It wasnt the deere dealer that diplayed arrogance, it was Deere themselves which you will probably never encounter an issue with them directly.

cthonestguy - Thanks for that input. I will give them a try once my warrenty expires. Bethany is only about 45 minutes from here. I'm in Guilford. I was originally going to purchase the kubota at midstate but I was getting bad vibes from Braz Olivera. You definitly stole your bx for that price. Take care of it & it will outlast you.

Doncordell, my trailer handles my tractor very well. I don't have a FEL, but would have plenty of room for it. If your trailer is only 6.0 ft wide the 60" MMM won't fit. I have to raise the grass chute to get my on at 6.5 ft.<br>

As for a double axle trailer, I would agree with Bellaterra, two are better than one. The only flat tire I ever had on a trailer was on a double axle carrying a 45 or 50 hp Massy. I pulled a 18ft ski boat around on a single axle trailer for many years without the first problem. However, I only haul my tractor for short distances less than 10 miles, and only do it a couple times a month. I would upgrade to a two axle if I was hauling long distances and more often.
