Does anyone know if I-Match works on the JD 5020 series tractors (Cat II), or just the smaller 4000 series?

I have a Hardi sprayer (cat I) and am looking at a 5020 tractor, BUT am being told the only way they'll work is with I-Match. I can't get a confident answer as to whether I-Match works with those bigger tractors.

OK Bob, now that makes more sense.

The GST is Kubota's version of a 'shuttle shift' transmission. It has a gear selector on the left fender and a forward/neutral/reverse shifter on the left side of the steering column.

If it has a gear shift lever on the floor between your feet that includes reverse then it is a 'gear' or as Kubota calls it 'DT' transmission.

The fluid the dealer gave you will also tell you if it's a GST or DT model.

This is a relative guess, since I haven't seen the property, but you will need to loosen that dirt so it can be moved around. One way might be to rent, or if you own, a 4' rear tiller and just go around the building until it looks like loam. These units can really a tiller. Alternatively, you might get a 4' box blade and angle the teeth down without (this can be simply adjusted with the top arm) pulling soil with the box and break up all the soil and then raise the teeth and allow the box blade to work.

James; You aren't the first or the last to do such a thing, I pulled some real boners too. I'm really not familiar with an Ingersol brand tractor. I'd almost guarantee if you put the gas in the hydro resovoir that it circulated thru the system. Long as it was still working properly when you shut down for the fluid change you've allready done about all that can be done. Yes all the pumps are metal. Did the fluid/gas mix you draind appear to have any metal flakes or chips in it? Gasoline is'nt much of a lubricant, so it's posssible that a pump could have scored. About all you can do is just keep running it checking to se if the system overheats or becomes erratic, long as it keeps working properly you got lucky. Hope this helps. Frank.

Murf; Yes you're right, there has to be a clutch somewhere for the PTO. The hydro unit powers only the transmission. I don't know enough about an NH to say whether the PTO clutch is dry or wet, but thre has to be one. In my prior post I was thinking only of the transmision drive. Sory for my goof. Frank.

A general way to make an adjustment on a conventional position control hitch is as follows. The actual procedure may be different and it's not intended as a do it yourself recipe.

Disconnect the linkage from the control arm and move it into the lower mode. Then, with the tractor running and observing safety procedures (you are standing and working beside a running tractor that can get bumped into gear or drop attachments etc.). Raise the hitch manually until the hitch is against its mechanical stops and the relief valve opens. Move the control arm until the hitch goes into neutral. Reattach the linkage and back off the adjustment a bit more to provide a safety margin. Backing off the adjustment should put the hitch into neutral earlier and have the effect of reducing its max height as Ken mentioned.

If that sort of procedure doesn't work then the linkage may be worn or bent or the lift spool or poppet valve may be damaged. Minor disassembly on some tractors allows inspection of the valve heads and internal control arm. A manual or dealer is needed to go much further.

I had a smoke system on my Pitts S1S and our Decathalon. I'd fill it with insect fogging agent and buzz the strip (we live on a fly-in sub-division)with smoke on. About 8 pass's and the deed was done..no skeeters for weeks.

Then there's the idiot who sprayed himself with bear repellent before venturing forth into bear country. He didn't get further than where he sprayed himself.

Hi everyone, I am new on the forum and still trying to find my way around. I would like to ask you guys (& gals) what would be a good value for a Kubota B6200D, chassis # 65472. Fair condition, fitted with central mower. No clock so I could not see the # of hours. Apparently the generator is missing as well as the fuel cap + radiator cap otherwise the engine still is in it's complete original paint, no chips or burns / oil stain.<br>
Thank you for your help. Would need any info concerning the B6200 if anyone has (HP, year,......)

My 2003 33D has had the ignition switch replaced due to no stating (couldn't turn key). I replaced it myself and couldn't believe that the switch they used isn't even water-resistant (mine was plugged with dust, dirt and weed seeds) The switch is actually and interior-only switch. The new one had silicone sealant sloppily slathered on the back of it. The turn signal uses the same basic switch and it isn't sealed either.
