Stonegate;I do remember that too when the JD brochures listed the dispacement for both tractors being the same. perhaps the proof readers missed a spec or two. Frank.

Hope all the hydrualic hoses on the loader are 2-wire type, as except for 1-wire 1/4" hose, you would be above the working pressure of all larger diameter 1-wire hoses at the PSI measurements being thrown around.

My Cub Cadet 7205 has developed a problem with the catagory I hitch. It raises and lowers as it should with the exception that it will not go all the way down. It does go all the way up. When in the full down position the lift arms are parallel with the ground instead of pointing toward the ground. They do not go low enough to attach the implements. Any suggestions?

I have a 1987 John Deere 185 Hydro for sale. It was used as a lawnmower but very seldom. I do not know if it runs and it has flat tires but could probably be fixed up. It looks great. Does anyone know what a fair price might be?<br>

Interesting. Did you hear that they were eliminating features? Or are they consolidating the functions among fewer controllers? I know that I never have a need to use the SpeedMatch or MotionMatch features, but I think those are just software features that use the same controller as LoadMatch. I'd hate to see them eliminate LoadMatch.

I'm about to take the plunge and trade in my 8N for an L3130HST 4WD and the LA513. I was quoted a price of $15,100 for the tractor itself and another $3500 for the loader. From what I have been seeing here this sounds high. Any ideas? If high by how much? Thanks.

I have a BX 2230 with an FEL and I can only say that it really digs well or much better than I expected. It is actually much better at digging out rocks than I expected. I have dug out rocks that are far to heavy to pick up, but I can push them. My guess is the 1500 should work about the same.

16/12 is the recommended pitch for shedding accumulated snow. That doesn't mean it won't slide off a 12/12. It depends on the density of the snow that falls.

I recently purchased a NH TZ24DA. The owners manual will answer some of your questions. I would suggest you ask your dealer to let you look at one. It will give tractor weights, measurements, etc. I would suggest you consider the TZ24DA with more HP and you can go to a 60"mmm. This tractor has 18 pto HP.

Some time ago I was looking at a 10-year old International 1120 on a dealer lot, realized it was made by Mitsubishi. Then looking at a used but relatively new Cub Cadet 8000 series on the lot, hmmmm...same tractor but different tire size bigger engine ?? Design sure looked similar (giveaway detail was the shape and location of the fuel tank behind the seat). <br>

You should be over 5000 but under 8000 for fair values and working with the book values. Often a clean low houred one will bring closer to the 9000 dollar number and ones with loaders bounce off 10,000 but yet below. Not knowing the exact year and for the length of production gives a good spread.

I have a Case 224 garden tractor. It has stopped charging the the battery, and when I pull the battery cable from the positive side the engine stops. Can I do any tests to see if the problem might be with the regulator rather than the stator?<br>

It generally wont cause a disturbance unless the turf tends to be wet or the turf is freshly installed rolled sod less then 5 months old. I have walk behind mowers that have even caused ruts in those situation.
