Bear in mind that I have no personal experience using PHDs on limited hitches, but I would say if you have holes to dig that a standard hitch would work better. I'm sure others here will chime in with more informed opinions. I seem to recall some PHDs would work on the limited hitches but the auger size was small.

kevin, opening the dash near the throttle is part of the issue. The dash doesn't open at the throttle, nor is there really a dash. There is a cowl and a bonnet that house the instrument panel and controls. Good luck getting inside either one of these pieces. I have ordered a shop manual to figure out the corrrect procedure for removing the cowl. From the parts manual, I don't see a friction plate, any more than a lock nut and washer on the throttle stem.

Not looking for a throttle lever that flops in the breeze. Looking for a lever that isn't so stiff that it is impossible to set the rpms were you want them. By the time you crank on it hard enough to move it, you are jumping 500 rpm. I know this can be adjucted because my neighbors is so smooth.

I'd hate to think I have to contact the dealer for something that should be so easy to solve on my own. Thanks for the comments.

This past Saturday I took delivery of a new TZ24DA with a 60"mmm. I put about 2.5 hours on it that afternoon mowing. So far I am very pleased. Tractor is easy to operate and has plenty of power. I have got to get used to the ROPS around the trees as I broke a few branches.

I own a TC33D and wonder what the proper use of the lower link arm adjusters are on the 3PH? Not being an "old farmer" and with little mentioned in the owners manual I am looking for advice. As you know these adjusters have several holes that line up with a pin that inserts into the holes according to the width of the implement you are attaching. It also has two slotted holes that allow for some movement when attached in that position. When would you use the slotted holes? Would you ever not insert the pins? I've seen cheaper models use a chain & turnbuckle for the link arms and most folks with them said "draw them up good and tight." Even with the pin in the proper holes they allow the link arms to move a small amount and never "hold it good and tight" Is there a reason to have the implement secured this tightly other than maybe transport? Also depending on the length of the lower pin on the implement, the ball swivel can move a bit if the lynch pin hole is at the very end. Should some kind of spacers be utilized there if "good and tight" is the answer?<br>

Now on my second Dodge with Cummins both have been great.
but whatever make the dealer has to be good or the experience can be painful(past experiences - the Dodges have only gone to the dealer for inspection stickers and routine maint.)

I am looking for a 3 point snowblower for my Kubot L4330. I am considering a 6ft Hayban. I have never heard of it before and can't find anything out about it. The guy is asking 875 dollars for it. He said it was 1800 new. Anybody heard of that brand and no where I can look at a new one for comparison priceing? Thanks Lakeman

Keep the money in your pocket! The BX1500 with less horsepower then the other tractors still weighs about the same so the amount that they pull all comes in about the same. The three cylinder is smoother at an idle but when you are running it in the operating range I don't think you could tell the difference.

I see the plates on Ebay for $150, including shipping in the US. Anybody recommend a vendor for the loader side Quick Tach? I imagine they would have to be customized for any loader I wanted to put it on.....

I wonder why I do not see people using this attachment method for backhoes on CUTs. The loaders should be able to take the stress, and it sure seems easier to take on and off than sub-frame connections on the back.....

Any skid steer experts out there?

I am deciding between a Kubota 7510 and a 7800 -- looking to buy next week so need to finalize my decision. I will have some fields to mow, roughly 3 acres. The fields have been cut regulary so it is growth that is less than a year old (tall grass, prickers, etc). I like everything about the B7510 and am confident thhat it will fit my needs -- but will need to buy a 48" cutter rather than the 60" that the 7800 can handle. Time I have.<br>

I guess i am wondering about a heavy vs light duty cutter -- and what the liklihood of finding a quality 48" if I chosse that route. Any thoughts on prices/models? I did not see a brush cutter offered by Kubota (at least not on website) so am not 100% sure what they reccomend.<br>

IT IS A BROKEN PRESSURE PLATE RELEASE ARM OR RELEASE ARM PIVOT PIN
i have seen it many times on old massey fergusons,fords,
internationals, on and on
the pivot pin that attaches the lever arm (part of the pressure plate) to the pressure plate housing has broke or fallen out, SOME HAVE BOLTS, THESE SHOULD BE TACK WELDED
ON ASSEMBLY TO PREVENT FALLING OUT.
when you push the clutch in , the throw out bearing pushes aginst these arms, if one arm pin or even the are itself is
broken the clutch will only release for 2/3'rds of the diameter, the other third is still touching the flywheel.
i knew a guy that started his tractor in gear for 10 years
till he finally let me help him replace the pressure plate and clutch.

LE or not LE, the 200 series can handle light duty rotary cutters of 4'. Many use 5' light duty cutters. If you need a medium or heavy duty, I am not sure if it will handle it. If mowing up hills, and you don't have a fel on, you might want to add some additional front weight.

LE model is specific to a particular importer (China Importers), and their associated dealers, as far as I know. If you are looking at a dealer that offers both, go LE. If comparing LE from one dealer to another dealer that uses a different importer, it is not so clear. Many options that are found on LE can be found on others. It depends on how the tractor was ordered. Some of the LE options, are strickly cosmetic, too. If you could identify the particular option that may or may not be included, I could give you my opinion on in.

Options I am fond of: folding ROPs, front hyd steering cyl, flip-up hood, recessed front battery, new switch panel, and probably a few others.

Options I am neutral on or maybe slightly negative for me, or just a personel choice, but shouldn't be a deal breaker: fiberglass rear fenders, new 3pt tensioning arms, sunshade, side panels, integrated gauge set, underseat hyd port.

Line-X sent me a chemical compatibility sheet that has the results of exposing their spray on bed liner to 50 different chemicals, everything from creme soda to strong acids. Diesel fuel causes the liner to discolor and swell a bit but they don't consider it a failure. Gasoline causes it to swell a bit and even get a little harder, but when the gasoline evaporates it goes back to normal. The only chemicals that caused a failure were 90% formic acid, Acetic acid, and 10% chrome acid. It passed the test with other acids including hydrochloric, sulfuric, and phosphoric.

The Deere front blade is sturdy, well designed and easy to attach/detach. Mine was priced at $1,000 new with the tractor.

It is not as big as the Curtis blade but it is also designed to push dirt.
