Hey I'm just trying to be helpful, I personally own a landscaping business I just wanted to pass on a good tip to the regular guys like me. I'm sure alotta guys here wish someone would have gave them the heads up on a good product. I'm sure we have all bought a piece of crap at one time or another and wish someone else had the info to stop us from making that purchase, and also tell me how to register

A friend recently purchased a 36" AC Rototiller attachment. The drawing number is 2029936 and the serial # is 3737. He is hoping someone might help with a xerox copy of the manual or instructions on how to get the belt driven tiller to operate correctly.<br>

I would recommend away from the calcium filled tires. Many bad experiences over the years with rotted rims have lead to better products being available for tire filling. Check with your Kubkta dealer. Mine are filled for added stability, but not with calcium. Rim Guard is what I believe is available in most areas, and will not rot the rims.

Fill the rear tires, you will notice a big difference, but not with calcium.

Hello, I need some help please. A know some people are licking their chops to flame me because I bought Japanese (Hinomoto) instead of a Compact Massey Ferguson. However it's too late!!! I already screwed up and now I am hoping some kind soul will help bail me out of my predicament. I am looking for a Massey Ferguson model equiv. to a Hinomoto C174 so I can buy some replacement parts for my Hinomoto. I am told the Hinomoto C174 should have a sister tractor in the Massey Ferguson line that would have interchangable parts. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help!!<br>

I would have thought this to be normal, except my neighbors machine has even less hours on it than mine, and his moves very smoothly. I've tried getting at the linkage to see what's up, but you have to remove the cowl to get at it. Hoping someone can help us out. If not, I'm going to have to hit the weight machine to operate my throttle lever. I'm sure there is an answer to this.

If this is just a once in a while type deal, i would mow the grass like normal and then let it dry out for a day. Then go back and mow it blowing the grass inwards. You may have to make a couple of rows, then just pick it up and put it on the compost pile. I did this earlier this year on a few acres and it didn't take very long. This way will save you a few bucks if this only needs to be done now and again.

Your right Oliver - the quick attach would be essential. Called Curtis and for that package ( 5' manual blade w/quick attach would be $1760 retail. Will call my dealer to find what thier price would be.

Mike, depending on the soil conditions, either a pulverizer or harrows.

If the ground is really hard & crusty, a pulverizer.

If it just needs a little loosening and smoothing, a set of harrows will do the trick.

I know some of you have TDI's...lately, ALOT of "little" plastic stuff (fuel door latch, trunk latch, cup holders, etc." have been breaking lately, and the dealer doesn't believe in Vaseline, if you know what I mean...now my fuel gauge reads FULL constantly...if only it were true...any ideas? (2000 Jetta TDI)

Another thought. Was your engine temperature in the normal range? Your radiator screen could have been plugged up with material and caused the engine temperature to climb. Be sure to keep the screen clean. When mowing in dry conditions the screen may plug up more frequently than you'd expect.

I'd have to say you could adapt to the one petal rocker design of Kubota's as we have had many people do that. I haven't seen or heard of anyone trading a Kubota in this area for a twin petal. I know for me my extra wide duck feet keep me from using the twin petals easily. I also find that maybe I don't have that much time so I've never found it a need to use the cruise on tractors as I can mow far faster without the cruise as it doesn't allow you to adjust speeds to mow at full tilt.

Please "No envy required"! Yes, I still have the plans for all of the manufactured components although the stock list is not complete. I used a flange mount style agriculture bearing. Some design changes need to be made to further perfect it.
1. It needs some heavy springs pushing down on the trailing arms to get more pressure on the roller. The roller is support at each end by a flange bearing.
2. The shaft going through it is 1 1/4 diameter. I'd go the 1 1/2 or 2" next time.

This design is fashioned after a Land Pride but with the expanded metal roller and slightly smaller "I" beam. You can pickup a Land Pride pretty cheap. The expanded roller is difficult to bend, only a few shops can do that kinda stuff.

I draw in AutoCad but may be able to convert a .dwg drawing and post it as a .bmp file. Give me a few days or a week. I'm real heavy into some hot projects now with near instant deliveries. Got to go make a living!

I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for.

If you mean an edger as in the thing that digs that neat little trench along the edge of turf, they don't make such a beast as far as I know. Even if they did it would be a pip of a thing to try and make a decent job of on the 3pth since the hitch is not that accurate.
