Thanks for the input. I have calcium filled tires on my BX23 and it seems to handle the tough slopes that I am working on, but I still believe it is critical to exercise caution on any slope. That is part of the reason why I am interested in the tiltmeter.

Chief, sorry that I have to ask, but could you or someone clue me in on what SOPTM means. Thanks.

I think its time to ask the CEO for a larger tractor? Then get a 72" rotary cutter for the rest of the yard and you could cut that yard part every week and still have time to have a beer and take the little lady out to supper every week with the time you will save in NOT picking up the clippings.
I think Harvey hit it on the head, if you live in an area that you let your yard get that long why pick em up? Also, a tip here, dont fertilize the area you dont want to grow so much, just weed killer.

The only other Brand of hoe I have installed on our tractors besides NH is woods. They are a bit easier to remove and install but it requires the removal of the 3pt arms. Put then you also get a PTO pump which is allot better than the tractor pump.

I've got the Galaxy tires on my 4400 and I love them as far as mowing goes they just can't be beat. I also push snow with them and it's a little harder but with 6 to 8 inches at thje most I've had good luck with them.

The throttle lever on my 7800 is so stiff that I have a hard time setting the rpms where I want them. I have to really crank on the thing to get it to move. Anyone else have this problem, and if so, what is the best way to free it up? My neighbor has a 7800 and his throttle lever is smooth. Help

If the clutch is new, electric clutches need to be burnished to work properly. This is a procedure of engaging and disengaging the clutch several times at medium rpms enough to heat up the clutch and burnish the plates. You should find the procedure in your owners manual.

If that doesn't solve your problem, you need a set of feeler guages amd a little patience. It sounds like the gap of the clutch plates needs to be set. The procedure again should be in your owners manual along with the recomended gap. There are two slots on the side of the clutch that gap the plates, and usually threee adjustment screws. Look in your manual for the right gap and the gapping procedure. It sure sounds like the clutch isn't gapped.

I am looking to put 3 12x12 stalls in an unfinished barn. Does anyone have suggestions on where to buy door hardware (or maybe premade doors) and other equpment (feeders, stall dividers, etc). Also, I was thinking of using rough cut 2x6's (cheaper?), maybe even tongue and groove or shiplap (for extra strength). Any thoughts?<br>

I know next to nothing about horses (except that they take up lots of time and unbelievable amounts of money). My wife (the owner of the horses) and I are moving to a place where we can keep her horses at home rather than continue to board them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

there is not a cab available to the best of my knowledge that has better visibility then the factory Kubota. We have access to most all brands available and there are some good priced cabs available but not as good as the Factory for performance.

True that they must be built to with stand the wheel setting if they build it. We just see more tractors with axle and wheel problems when they are set up that way. With the proior mentioned posts of the swapping on some tractors every ten years or less then the owners might not have to exerience the problem from the metal fatigue. Bush-hogs/slashers are quite common in Austraila and I found them available at most dealers.

A friend who sold me my 4410 was a Deere Regional Sales Manager at the time. He told me that the schools and seminars Deere sent him to, all pushed using the Lo Vis Hygard. I personally use what the book calls for by temperature range and that is regular Hygard.
