The price is about right for a good clean one. It would do all that you are looking for and a little extra. The side console model was a little more the normal for controls of the tractor then the 10 and the early 20 series as they had everything on the dash to operate the tractor so you are getting the better of years.

I like the Kubota line because they are lighter than most with equal HP. I have a B7500 wich is more than enough for my 2.5 acres of future grass and 10 acre pasture land. The 7500 hst weighs just under #1400's. Some may not see this as an advantage as I do. I'm not going to pile on Green, everybody should get a pass once and again.

I have a reverse steer or back steer tractor with the brand name of Hercules sold by the Hercules Equipment Corporation. It has a Diesel engine made by Benya in China. Can anyone tell me more about this tractor or where I might find a repair or motor manual for it. I assume that Benya sells its engine for under other manufacturer names??? thanks for your help, Craig

I have looked at one and was favorably impressed. The 4wd model can be equipped with a front loader and a backhoe.

Just wondered if anybody has bought or thought about buying the Xtra Armor package? Does anybody know the cost for a 4310 kit? Can't find any info on the Deere site about it, probably overkill anyways but then again might save the hood someday.

Ranger350. The PIP (Product improvement plan) on the hundred series was the addition of a top fine mesh screen. This was added due to some people suffering pump damage from contaminants. On the 10 series they have added a spin-on filter under the left side footboard as an extra precaution. This is why I posted , as I want to know if anyone has made the upgrade to their hundred series tractors.<br>

Big Jim and AV8R, Below is what was sent to me from the product manager at Kubota. In my opinion it is not hard getting it off, the issue is getting it back on. I have asked if the installation is the reverse of the removal.

Greg:

For the BX1500, remove the grass catcher as described below. (disregard the wood blocks if it is not a BX1500, step #2) 1. Place tractor on flat surface.
2. Place 2 pieces of 2 x4 wood blocks under the rear tires to raise the rear end about 2". Shut off tractor.
3. Lower the grass catcher parking stands as shown in page 10 of the ops
manual.
4. Loosen the check chains on the 3 pt hitch lift arms.
4. Disconnect the top link pin from the top link support on the tractor.
The grass catcher parking stands should now be contacting the ground.
5. Disconnect the right hand side 3PT lift arm from the grass catcher
hitch pin.
NOTE: Careful with the lift arm as it is not connected to the tractors lift rod arm.
6. Disconnect the left hand side lift arm from the grass catcher hitch pin.
NOTE: Careful with the lift arm as it is not connected to the tractors lift rod arm.
7. Disconnect the grass catch PTO shaft from tractor.
8. Start tractor and move forward. Shut off tractor.
9. Remove the tractor lift arms off the grass catcher storage area as shown in page 13 of the manual. Connect the tractor lift arms to the tractor as shown on page 8 of the grass catcher manual.

Do you have the downhill runaway problem also? Mine works fine except when going downhill. Temperature is also a factor. It definitely gets worse as it get hot. I assume this is probably just because the viscosity drops some.

To be fair, you cant expect another lenar dealer to work on your tractor for free! Why try to hurt him? He may be a very good dealer.

Sorry but I still think your dealer shafted you! With any chinese tractor their will be some fixes needed here and their, but most aren't very bad. He obviously wasn't prepared to do anything.

I still don't understand. If all lenar tractors are junk, how do explain an operation like cooper tractors and all the compliments and good words we have heard about them.

Other than you, all I have heard is positive feedback from lenar owners. I think with chinese tractors you have to be able to rely on your dealer.

Sorry about your misfortune, but I don't think going around trying to put people out of business is the answer. Is your goal putting lenar out of business? Even if you do succeed, what are you doing to all the lenar buyers who have good dealers. They would then be stuck with no way of getting parts and no one to work on them.

You should be hoping lenar gets big, then requires their dealers to work on all lenars, and in turn raises the resell value of the tractor.

I would keep my eyes open for a slightly used 4100 or 4110
which if you sold your 2210 you might make it a wash...

Why take a large hit like that? save that hit for a backhoe attachment!!

There is no need to idle for 5 minutes.
After running hard for a period of time I do try to idle for a breif period, maybe 1 minute.
On a turbo charged engine a 3 minute idle period is recommended, but that will not apply to your machine.
