well all you here is what is on this site i work in the shop every day ive seen all three broken in two and none more than the other. hell ive seen full size b-hoes broken in two. My dealership sells both nh and kubota we probaly sell 300 units a year or more of just nh. you have no idea what you are talking about, you just think you do and all you are going to do is get people that really dont know in a whole pile of dung. and while your at it why dont you call deer or kubota and ask them what theyed do if a 5 year old tractor broke, the same thing nh is doing.

I have a Jinma 284 with a FEL. When I use the loader it steers hard is this normal? I just received the tractor.

from what you have mentioned you would be more suited for the tc24 remember these things hold there value very well. in the future if you need to go bigger you will not lose much money on the smaller tractor as a trade or even less if you sell it your self.

Well I worked on the tractor today I found that the injection pump was about 4 OZ low on oil. I ran it hard and it did not act up any more. I am hoping that that was the problem.

I've been looking for a set myself - The best I've seen is $475 on fleabay, and then you have to ship them. My Kubota dealer does a set for $750 (plus tax of course). I've not been willing to pony up that much. I keep hoping I stumble across a landscaper or someone who is trading out equipment...

Anyone here have access to measuring their bucket on a tc40 or35. I am looking for the dimension from the front lip of the blade to the back of the lip. I made a ball hitch for the front bucket and forgot to get the dimension. (my tractor is 300 miles away from me right now)<br>
If I did not make myself clear enough sorry. I saw a picture of this that clamps on the bucket to move around trailers. It looks like the front lip goes under a piece of round stock and there is a piece of flat stock welded that would lock this tool in place. The distance from the round to the flat is what I am unsure of. I believe it would be just a tad longer than the front (wear plate dont know the proper term) on the bucket. For the 16LA <br>

Does anyone know if the new hood/headlights can be installed on the "older" tractors. I have a '03 tc40d. I have found there is a blind spot while using the tractor with loader on, after dark. Does the new style of headlights actually make a difference in being able to see while the front end loader is on. It is bothersome to ride around the loader up higher than usual just to have better lighting. I am tickled pink or should I say "blue" with my tractor. This is a great board!! thanks.

I have a Ford 2n. I've replaced wires, plugs, points and condenser and even installed a carb rebuild kit and it still won't start. I have spark and it's gettin' gas. HELP!

Thanks for all of the feedback. I did see the information regarding 4 drain plugs and realized that 11+ gallons needed to be dealt with. Also took the advice of revisiting the dealer when buying the hydraulic fluid to get question re: bleeding, front axle draining etc. Results are the the fluid should be good to go for another 400 hours. Thanks for your reinforcement.

Well, here was the process I followed. Sanded off paint from the block in the area that the threaded adapter would attach to the block, drained all coolant into a clean bucket, tapped the plug out of the block, screwed on the threaded adapter, screwed in the actual block heater and then refilled the system. Since I could find no reason to use the "required" governor cover, returned it to the dealer (they couldn't find any reason to use it either). All in all it was pretty simple and straightforward, not wishing for winter to return, but can't wait to test it out!

new to this discusion. I am in the process of finally buying my tractor and I am torn as to whether to get a finish mower or brush hog. I have several acres of pasture which ajoin my yard. It is rolling hill to flat, some rocks. Am I kidding myself to think I can use a finish mower? Should I just get a brush hog and continue to mow the yard area with my hand push mower? Some advise would be welcomed.

I agree it is odd. JD told my dealer over the phone they were considering giving me a new machine. Reason being, my dealer told deere that it had been there several times to be fixed & adjusted & they just couldn't seem to correct it. Then Mills told my dealer he wanted to see the tractor before he made a permanent decision. So the day of the meeting i show up with my machine & mills says, "Oh, i had no idea this machine had 670 hrs on it. I cant issue you a new machine with that many hours on this one." So i said.." i thought my warrenty was a time period not an hours factor. I also said that it had been falling off since it had 100 hrs on it. Then he made a coment later on in the meeting that his lawyers were much stonger then mine so dont even go there is what he said!

ask if they will give any kind of warnt. or if factory still remains. other than that is sounds like a really good deal gool luck.

normally 180 degees operating temp is the average on MOST engines. if you could find one at an auto parts store that would be all right a thermostat is a termostat regardess of what is is in.

the lumber would be ground contact rated,which Ive always been told is "southern yellow pine".obviously,any existing barn floors I look at wont be built with that,probably a species of oak,which is a lot different strengthwise.
