Is there any difference from an automotive thermastat and a so called tractor thermastat ?????????????
My D2650FD was running hot. I discovered the radiator was pluged and it did not have a thermastat.I want to put one in but i do not know the type or temp setting...................HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

normally 180 degees operating temp is the average on MOST engines. if you could find one at an auto parts store that would be all right a thermostat is a termostat regardess of what is is in. ....
