You are better off getting the smaller cat 1, cat 0 frame equipment and not worry about it. The other alternative is to relocate the pins on the equipment. To change the geometry of the linkages could be disapointing. The manufacturers of attachments are building better three point stuff everyday. With JD and Massey jumping in and selling them now to that should give them even more desire to build these attachments.

The utility company will install dawn to dusk halogen yard lights around here and the charge is a flat rate. They can't be turned off and I think there's is the power outage thing but that's the utility's problem. I wouldn't have one 'cause I got to liking my country dark. To me it seems very strange driving in the middle of a country night and see one of these places lit up like a used car lot.

We have just two rural service incandescent bulbs on the house and a motion sensitive one at a parking area. The regular bulbs didn't last very long. I figure there's enough light if I can see where to put the keys. The motion sensor is sort of a pain. Wind in the trees sets it off and we have to dance around under the pole to get it to turn on if the sensitivity is reduced enough to keep the wind from setting it off. Fortunately the light is fed from a GFI receptacle on the pole. I tend to use the GFI test like a switch since we seldom really need the light.

It's probably a little late now but I'd tell who ever is setting up the tractor about the chains. They'd likely give you as much clearance as possible either by adjusting the rims if they are adjustable or by reversing the wheels. Reversing the wheels usually means exchanging left and right rather than turning them around. No guarantees that there'd be enough clearance. A few wheels can't be adjusted but it's not too common.

I have an Agric 40" tiller for my b7100HST and I love it,tiller is built like a tank(and just about as heavy)and gives great results.Rocks don't seam to bother it and it will clean up smaller(1" or so)tree roots.

There are lots of pressures to use. BUT it depends on the size of your tip which should correspend to the thickness of metal you are cutting.

Of course then it depends on what gas you are using.

Winterhunter I would suggest that you consider a 4310 if you plan to use a 72" MMM. The 4310 has a taller stance and will allow you more adjustability. From others I have spoken with there seems to be an issue with the amount of height adjustment on the 4210 with the MMM due to it lower height stance. I think the 72" althought it will fit would be a bit much for the 4210 in heavier grass. The 4310 offers obviously more hp and is still a mid frame tractor. It is one of the most popular of the 4000 Ten Series for a good reason. It may cost a little more but I think you would be better served with it.

I also have an MX5000. The needle on my temp gauge does not rise much either, maybe a mm or two beyond the Cold mark. I have a Woods BB720 that I was using in September to reclaim 5 or so acres of old pasture. The pasture had turned into thick weeds, vines and brush, alot of it shoulder high. I thought I was working it kind of hard and still the needle did not rise anywhere near a quarter of the way up the scale. I also stopped lots of times to clean the screen in front of the radiator. Even when the screen had become caked with debris, the needle stayed the same. I have not had any trouble with the tractor and have been more than pleased with the power. I don't have much to compare it to other than my Father-in-Law's Ford 801 Powermaster. I am going to mention the issue to my dealer. I will report back with any info I receive.

Sorry... you are right. The Multi Trac C/S shown on the web site was not the tire I saw offered as a turf tire on a new 7800.

The tire pictured on the web site is as good as you are going to get for snow/ice usage in a standard tractor tire.

Your will see some increase in performance if you went to a studded radial SUV tire, but probably not enough to justify the cost.

If I had a 2910 with that tire I would as Murf said ballast the heck out of the tractor and run minimal air pressures....... 10 to 12 PSI.

I think the multi trac would work well with cable chains in slippery conditions and the cables would take up a lot less room under the fender when compared to link chains.

I bought the 200 amp unit and configured it to a old used
murray lawnmower like the one displayed on the Zena web page, it works good but the largest size rod that I can use
is 3/32 because I do not have the HP I only have a 11hp briggs+stratton, motor sounds like your are cutting tall grass when you start welding. Only problem I have had is the connection on the lead control wire connection and a
blown fuse in the control module that is attached to the
generator but company repaired it promptly.I like my unit
but would really like it if I had the power to turn it like
it should.

Like Ken was eluding to; experiment and see what makes it run the quietest. The Yanmars can have a horrible combustion knock with crappy fuel. That is a reason I run an additive in my 4410. It does help to quiet the engine down some. Try different brands and see what works for you.

Listening to the different problems here and trying to help I'd talk to your New Holland dealer and ask for the higher grade oil they offer. It is the same as the Case-IH hytran plus. It is a thinner weight which might relieve the system faster. I believe petal effort on NH tractors is around 25lbs so if you have fish scale or a measure to check effort that might help you find the problem. I definitly would be in touch with your dealer if at all possible.

or 7500 both hoes are thicker steel than
I've seen on kubota units & last extremely well
stay away from the china units on ebay
they bend like plastic.

Put a sub frame on either of those tractors to disperse
the added weight. B hoes are heavy & will crack
a small tractor. Have fun.

My pulverizer uses 5/8 in square rod held in diagonaly. So, I just order 20 ft pieces of 1/2 hard and cut my own.

Most full service dealers have a dyno. I wouldn't waste much more time with out looking at the real results.
