Some urethane body mounts might be a bit more rigid and not let it vibrate as much as rubber. The rubber would work too. Even some cut up sections of tires.

Once again gentlemen, thanks for your insight into my questions. As I stated earlier, there are not many used machines available around here for a tire kicker to go out and test drive. Have some work to do tomorrow, and will probably go down to the local rental place and now I have some insight as to what to expect from the machine they hand me the keys to. Thanks.

I agree with that Art.I run a lot of differant hydro driven equipment of one form or another at work, pavers, skid steers, rollers, compactors, etc.
The hydro's are easier to ease into the pull and get it moving without spinning the tires than and manual/clutch.
But I didn't agree with the one member claiming a clutch would slip when pulling.

Have decided to purchase b7610 or 2410. Would like to know if anyone has any information or advice on "kit" backhoes as would like to add something smaller than standard kubota back hoe for this tractor. I would only have smaller digging projects on my property.<br>

How difficult are they to asssemble, does this model readily accept them and what kind of cost am I looking at?<br>

My 2 cents... I have a 2003 TC45D and after it warms up, I get the same situation (slow return) but only when the machine is under a load (digging into a pile). If I dig into a pile and the machine stops, when I release the pedal, it is slow to return. Tried to adjust a few things and keep well greased, but no help. Keep your foot ready to hit the other pedal, that's all I can do with it.

We have 7-8 sf of return air vents at the peak of our vault so that pulls hot air from the vault ceiling and recirculates it. I know that works 'cause I have to vacuum the registers all the time :) We run with continuous fan to even out the temps and better filter the air (wifes allergies).<br>

The cost isn't as bad as I figured it to be, but I'm like you and I'm sticking with the Kubota products. Thanks for the tip on the rubbermaid pan. My wife has so many rubbermaid tubs it is unreal. She has about 25 of the 18 gallon ones for Christmas stuff along with a couple 50 gallon ones for bigger items. Several more but different colors for easter stuff, halloween things, and so on. She even stores all the baby clothes in those tubs when the baby grows out of them (you know in case she has another one)!!!! All in all we must have a 100 of those tubs!! I should have bought stock in rubbermaid before she went out and bought them!!! She even uses them for laundry baskets.

Sorry to hear you backed away. There are other importers one I believe is in Canada. Search under Jinma in an internet search window for the other one. The dealer prices listed in China Best products are all FOB. The dealer has to pay the rest. The low retail price is supposed to reflect your total cost pick up for example in Chicago. It would be an adventure. Dealers in the states would discourage you for obvious reasons. You would be on you own as far as warranty work, if needed, but dealers here have most parts in stock for Jinma tractors. I picked mine up in a crate from a small dealer in Ohio for a little above what it cost him. Have never regretted the purchase.

I was unsure as to the power level of these units. I guess we are suggesting more work. I have worked on eye protection for the IR pulsed lasers, but the lower power can be more dangerous due to its insidious nature.
If you are thinking of a strong single pilon then maybe the 80/20 might be acceptable. It has extrude square tubing with connecting plates.

I recently purchased a B7800. The operators manual is usefull, but does not go into detail on replacing instrument panel lights. Does the instrument panel board remove from the Panel cover easily to replace bulbs. I can't tell if it snaps in place or not, and obviously don't have a shop manual yet.

Murf: I understand the cases are a heat exchange surface. What I was trying to come to grips with is that idea that low flow from low rpm operation may over-heat the oil. What I'm doing is looking for an explanation rather than differing with the claim.

The way I was thinking is along the lines that it takes a given amount of work to do a task. Unless a system's efficiency changes a given amount of heat should be produced, and that should be fairly constant whether the work is done at high or low flows, although it would take place over a longer time at low flows.

The pump and all components have less than 100% efficient, heat is produced and returned to the reservoir in exhaust oil where it raises the temp of reservoir oil and some heat is dissipated through the cases. More heat would dissipate as the oil temp rises above the air temp and the oil temp should come to equilibrium depending on the workload.

Assuming that work rather than flow changes the heat load, what I can't figure is how greater flow would increase heat dissipation in the reservoir. Increased dissipation would seem to be a logical requirement if low flows may over-heat oil (unless efficiency decreases). It is true that increased flow may stir reservoir oil more to increase dissipation and that there'd be greater be a greater volume of 'low worked' oil when no control vales were operated. I also made a big assumption. Even so, I can't see it unless efficiency changes but that's likely just illustrates the limits of my physics education.

Vetcor: I have the 2230 with same deck/bagger setup. I believe you do in fact have a problem because mine WILL allow adjustment to "top" while deck is installed. Hammer on dealer to fix this. How did you add wheels to the bagger? This is my only gripe so far on my tractor, bagger works awesome, but is a PAIN to attach and detach!!

This may be a mute point, but Kabota did change the color of their orange. I recently puchased a 7800 and was surprised when purchasing a can of touch up that there is a Kabota Orange II for newer models. The Kabota Orange from Tractor Supply is not a good match for Kabota Orange II.

I took a 7800 3 weeks ago after doing 2 years of research. The only feature you will miss is the position control on the 3 point. If you do a lot of grading, the 1/4" valve is no substitute for position control. Also be aware of the difference in hydraulic blocks. There is not a rear hydraulic bock on the 7800. Most dealers won't mention that. Other than that, great tractor.

yesterday a mechanic friend of mine suggested that i hose down the bolts on the axles with wd40 and attempt to adjust them the day after. The tractor is sitting on the sellers property and i need to move it pronto...
