When operating my 2210 in light snow conditions I noticed the left front tire was melting snow while the other tires packed and held snow. The exhaust pipe discharge is directly on this tire. Any long term problems with excessive heat on this tire.

I can't imagine that extra heat and hydrocarbons do rubber any good but I haven't heard of a problem. I'd just as soon the exhaust go somewhere myself. Maybe one of those 50's 'downdraft extensions' would clamp on the pipe. If there's no support for the pipe except for the manifold mounts, I'd hesitate to hang much weight on the end of the pipe. ....

I installed a 1" diameter 45 degree copper elbow to direct the exhaust down and forward of the tire. Works great. ....
