Lumber, Some loaders are engineered with a rear support, some are not. To add extra support is only added insurance that some have done. Any machine that is operated within its designed limits should have no problems. As a retired engineer friend of mine gives his defination of abuse. "Abuse=operating something outside its designed/intended parameters."
I know several people that have the ZL20 loader and some with the Koyker and have heard of NO structural failures of any kind on any of them whether they had a rear axle support or not. The nay sayers can distort all they want but fact is fact.

I don't have a PTO brake on my old Ford and can't say I miss it from all I've heard. I also seem to recall that it's good to coast big mowers down slow idle rpm before shutting the tractor down or the brakes can turn into expensive repair items. I wonder if there's some way to get more leverage for turning an implement by hand. Maybe one of those strap wrenches would clamp onto the pto shaft somewhere, but probably not since those shields sure are safe.

It is a complex issue, to be sure.

I know my "oh $#!* " meter almost never goes off any more since I put 150 pounds of steel in each rear wheel recess.

I not sure I would put a 3PT. on a sub compact, I am not up on KUBOTAS but I've seen to many tractors stressed because of a 3 pt.

I have a 2230 with 54" deck and bagger. Deck jumps off and on almost by itself, silly easy and quick. The bagger however can be a bit of a pain in the a*s. Check the pics below.

Small wheels, a rocky lot and a 50's something back with too many bar fights on the clock all conspired against "little toot". The ride quality on my piece of land was kicking my butt.

I sold the BX and traded the 4100 Gear for a unit with the best features of both.... the 4115. I wasn't real picky I would have been quite happy with a B7800 or a B2910 T/L/B but market conditions and crabby dealers took that option off the table.

I agree Duker! My 2230 was useless with either the snowblower or the FEL attached. I put 2 35 watt rubber cased worklights which I got from my dealeron either side of the ROPS. I committed the great feau pax by drilling the mounting holes and holes to run the wires inside the ROPS. This is something which Kubota should have already done at the factory!!! Anyway, 2 35 watters facing forward works great. Because it is a tractor you don't have to project light very far, you're not going that fast, just need the "flood" effect.

You 7265 is still being made the only thing is it is now a MAHINDRA 2615 they are the same in every way. If you need anything contact me I have a ton of parts in stock.

Art you probably haven't missed anything. It more likely my lack of knowledge on the many different types/brands of loader mounted plows.

Personally I would never have a blade mounted on the Loader. I've seen way to many cracked or broken loader arms. If I did it would be something I build because of the prices.

Having seen the Curtis I feel that it is well designed considering its usage and relatively durable. But as you state I have not really looked for or at others very close to have offered that broad of an opnion.

Side note: Art I'm not getting laid off this winter and that's a drag. It been a 2600 hour season in 42 weeks. But these 40 hour weeks are great. I'll be in touch.

The loaders are availble thru aftermarket companies such as RHINO and BUSH-HOG I am a dealer of both of these product lines and would be glad to help you out. Also the MAHINDRA 3015 is the same machine as the 7305 cub. I own a 7305 cub and I am a MAHINDRA dealer, I am going to look at the manuals to see if they are the same. (I bought the cub long befor I was a dealer)

Chief, are you familiar with the quick attach snow blades that are made by companies like Curtis, and FFC? adapter goes on the boom, the loader arms, rather, and the snow blade attaches there, after you disconnect the detachable bucket. I was wondering, that seems to be a "long ways" out in front of that tractor. Awkward looking, was wondering if anyone has experienced using this set-up, or if there is any feedback you can give me as to its usefulness...as I can still opt for the regular Kubota front blade with quick attach kit. I'd have to drop the loader, but it seems simple enough and the service mechanics have said it takes about three or four minutes once you understand it..maybe I should reconsider before signing those papers on an FFC Skid Loader quick-attach blade up front...so any input will help. I am wondering if it would make it too "front heavy" out there, or make maneuvering the tractor awkward..
So any input would be great..as I've never seen one in action and pictures and salesmen's reassurance are not the same as being on that seat and handling one.. so help if someone can? This is reference to my new K 2910, with the LA 402-l loader. The loader has the "power"..but I am wondering about maneuverability of the unit, with that snow blade way out there..any help?
You cannot "demo" the darn thing, because no one will go to the trouble to put the quick-kit on the loader arms to show you. Kind of flying blind here, with only pictures to guide me on it. Thanks.

Lawns are tough to get so they stay level and you get good grass year after year. I used a tiller and a york rake over a big section of my back lawn but it gave me a lot of loose dirt that when settled in was not as level as I had hoped. I've had some chances to use a Harley rock rake before and skimmed the highs out of a four acre lawn about four years ago and was amazed as to how nice and level it stayed. We did use a drop seeder for fertilizer and a slit seeder after for grass seed and we had good results with the grass regrowth and today you would never know that it was done but it is sports field level.

You are right about it being out of hand. Ken I agree with you on the spec's of the equipment as I'm often into the NH or Case books or to the Cadet comparisons for information. The 10 series of Deere was the first competitive make tractor model to be able to take off from an idle in high range like the Kubota's. I do believe unless some other companies switched it is the only other one at this time to be able to. I have not checked to see if it does it on the different styles and you might have tried it by this time and could answer that.

The Lenar is an open platform, 28.6 h.p., 3 cylinder diesel, live power, 4wheel drive. This tractor has a super tight turning radius and is a real powerhouse. It is NOT like a Jinma! The factory is new and is owned in part by Ford Motor Company and uses Ford Quality control processes. I have looked long and hard, this is the best value for the money I can find!

As far as Doe being spooked. Got 108 acre's behind the house that I have permission to hunt and no one else does ( Well except for the d!&^%$ f*&%%$& poachers/tresspassers I keep kicking off. But for the most part them deer are pretty well left alone.

What do you think I won the lottery? That would take more like 10 trips over the next 10 years. One attachment each year. I think I am going to try and get the brush cutter as soon as I sell my old riding mower and then look at running up to marion's for the auctions on other attachments. I may even try to look at brush cutters up there. but I can't wait to long. I need to get alot cleaned up so I can seed
