We are a Yanmar dealer and specialize in grey market Yanmars. I am with Wayne 30% anti freeze 70 % water max ratio. Anymore will cause overheating. Actually less antifreeze is better if freezing is not an issue. I have seen several Yanmar engines damaged from overfilling with antifreeze. You say your radiator has been flushed, but have you taken it to a radiator shop and had it boiled out and flow tested ? Flushing is good, but will not remove deposits if it is really stopped up. Could be you have a bad head gasket or cracked head that can cause overheating also. We have seen this problem in a few 1700 series tractors.

This may not be the right area to ask this, I am new to this board, but have found great advice here. I am looking for advice on a trailer for hauling a Kubota 2710 w/ loader and finish mower. Most of the hauling will be short local trips. I am sure I need a 16' tandem trailer, but not sure of what options are best. Full width ramp vs. split ramps, brakes on both axles vs. one axle vs. none, break-a-way needed, metal rail vs. stake pockets and make my own rail, etc. Some trailers are rated 5,000#, others rated 7000#. Any advice from trailer owners out there would be greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem with a backhoe, turned out to be a clogged hydraulic filter, when I used pressure the clogged filter didn't allow replenishment, and some crap had by-passed it and was sticking valves open. A good flush, fresh fluid, and a new filter, ta-da, ran like a new machine !!<br>Good luck.

I priced 3 NH Boomers today: TC25D $13,500; TC29D $14,190; TC33D $14,978. These tractors included R4 tires. Super Steer was additional $800. 7308 Loader was additional $3450.

What is the value on a John Deere 1938 A Tractor with a 2 bottom plow? It is in good condition. Starts great. Tires will need to be replaced soon.

I wish I had the money right now! Because at that price it is definatly a Steal! I now have a John Deere 4200, which I love! But there are some things I liked a lot better and I miss that I had on my previous 855. By the way! I traded my 1987 855 Hydro, with 4WD, #52 LOADER, 60

Sounds VERY complicated, ha ha, check the fuel shut-off is all the way OPEN. If not that, check that the manual engine kill, the red knob below the steering wheel is all the way IN. Lastly, if it is not one of those two, check that there is no obstructions, or a blocked fuel filter.

Bill might be on to something. Expansion & contraction from heat could be allowing<br>air to displace a small amount of oil. Remember, when you use the loader, the oil is warm or hot, causing<br>expansion. Afterwards the oil cools, causing a contraction effect. I know this is a pronounced phenomemon <br>that occurrs in 55 gal drums. You may also want to take notice of the temperature where you are storing the loader? <br>Most wooden sheds/garages can easily reach 100 degrees or more, especially when its 90 in the shade.<br>Gravity may not be helping the situation either.

Len, thanks for the clarification. I have never seen a Yanmar grey with a 3 digit model #. Are they small ones or just older. Didn't mean to imply that greys didn't have air cleaners just often different style.

I said this to farminlady then, and I'll tell you now. I think your tractor was not dyno'ed during the pre-delivery process, or if it was, it wasn't done long enough to properly seat the piston rings. This, along with a pattern of low RPM- light load operation after delivery will glaze the cylinder walls & ring surfaces, causing smoke, slobber from the exhaust & improper combustion. Your engine needs to be torn down, deglazed, re-rung, and broken in properly. Of course this is just one man's opinion, and I've been wrong before........................

if you have a jd mower that is $2500<br>option plus you already have the mid-pto about $900 option. The tractor really needs the 4wd for work<br>and a front loader. the nice thing is that being used for mowing the tractor is still basiclly new. If you have front loader and 4wd the price is not unreasonable.

For help in snow removal this winter, I would like to add a dual action cylinder to my Rhino 7ft. model 300 rear blade. There are hydraulic ports on the back of my tractor that are usually used to operate the lift cylinder on the belly mower deck, but when the belly mower has been removed and its lift cylinder hydraulic lines disconnected, they could be used to operate the angling of the rear blade. Have any of you added a hydraulic cylinder to a rear blade that was not designed to have a cylinder for angling and have any suggestions to make?<br>Mike

THE L3710 OFFERS THE GLIDE SHIFT OR HYDROSTATIC TRANS. WHICH ARE BOTH VERY NICE TO USE. I'D ALSO GIVE THE EDGE TO THE KUBOTA IN THE FRONT LOADER DEPARTMENT AS IT HAS A MORE SUBSTANTIAL FRAME WHICH ATTACHES TO THE TRACTOR IN THE FRONT, MIDDLE AND REAR. THOSE OF YOU WITH BUCKET LOADER FRAMES THAT DO ONT ATTACH TO ALL THREE POINTS MAY WANT TO CHECK ALL LOADER MOUNTING BOLTS FROM TIME TO TIME<br>AS THEY TEND TO LOOSEN.
