Anyone have experience with grass catcher attachments? I was looking into a Kubota B1700 and saw in the brochure a rear mounted bagger. Is it powered off the rear PTO? How well does this unit work? Will it also do leaves and hickory<br>nut husks? Thanks for any info.<br>

good explanation. I was told the same thing some years ago when I had this very<br>problem with my Yanmar (the red-colored JD). After playing around with it I<br>noticed that it seemed to happen at when the loader was facing slightly uphill <br>and the bucket was REALLY loaded, and when I had the bucket higher than normal <br>for dumping.

Im waiting for my tc21d to arrive any day now. My package was the TC21D, 7106 front loader and R4 tires. THis is a 4WD with hydrostat tranny. My cost was $14,100. I priced it at two separate dealers and the second was within $110. I don't really have the breakdown on separate costs of tractor, loader, tires,etc. Hope this helps....

I want to use a Costal product that says it meets JD 20A and JD 20C specs. My owners manual says I should use an oil that meets JD 20B. What's the difference or am I OK with the Costal?

I learned all about PTO control this very weekend. Went out to cut some fields for the first time with the 4300 [last time was with an 8N]. I pushed the PTO engage lever forward until I felt a resistance that seemed like it was engaged. I also heard the blades crank up. I set off down the field and every time I got into some heavy growth, it would stop cutting. I figured out that the PTO was not fully engaged and required a push past the first resistance. After that it worked fine.<br>If you push it all the way straight out, you do get a big clunk form the cutter even at low RPM. <br>You might want to consider stepping up to the 4300 for the extra HP.<br>

Well, I tried! I had bought a set of turf tires also, and they came on a set of wheels that don't fit my Kubota either. (might be JD?) Anyway, thought I might be able to get you that far at least, since I really have no need for them.<br>The wheels will be 1 piece (not a wheel/rim combo) that you'll need; good luck in your search<br>Bob<br>

I have just ordered a Kubota L3010 with LA481 loader. I want to have some tyhpe of attachement to the loader so that I can pick up logs, etc. I have seen a Kubota loader with steel rods attached inside the loader. I don't like the looks of the manufactured

My dealer has one on his lot right now. Asking $10,900 for tractor only. It is at Bates Ford Tractor in Coldwater, MI (517) 279-9179 Ask for Mark Mohney. I believe that the tractor has about 150 hrs. on it and was bought back from a guy that got a divorce. Mark said there is nothing wrong with it. Good Luck, Jim

access to a '53 jubilee i am tring to get going but it has more down time
than up it needs about 500 more to make it dependable. the long tractor
is the same package but its not 4wd but it 46 hp and 42 at pto. for $14,5k for 1 year warranty and no service agreement. "> new vs old

I have a 1997 fnh 1920 for sale. It is outfitted with a six foot two stage front mount snowblower, heated cab w/extras, rear blade, 3pt log splitter. Less than 400 hrs.
