I have the literature for my #75 loader (operators manual and parts listing), but so far have found very little on the #80 loader. Would like to compare the specs between the two loaders. Also, trying to determine if there are other loaders which would fit the 1050 tractor.

<br>I have just purchased a used Kubota B1750 which seems to sit uneven to the ground,the back end is aprox. 1.5-2 inches lower than the front.This tractor came with 20.5-8-10 in the front,and 29-12.5-15 in the rear. Both sets are turf tires and the tractor is 4 wheel drive.Anyone have any info about this I would apreciate it.<br> JustinM

As you might have suspected, Yanmar and JD use the identical seat. It sure is a nice one....nice steel pan, quality foam and vinyl, and a somewhat higher back than a universal type seat. The JD850 and 950 are the same....in fact, I think that the JD650 and 750 are the same as the JD850/950 too; although I don't know that for sure. I do know that this seat not only fits but is identical to the seats that were stock on all US Yanmars. Last month I bought an 850 seat to put on my Yanmar 336D. I like that Yanmar seat and frankly don't care if does cost a bit more. If it is different in any respect from the last one I bought in 1980 then I can't find it.....Hmm....It is different in one respect; The JD seat costs less than the Yanmar seat does.....:-(

I've been following this forum off and on and found a lot of great info on tractors. Considered a B21 but can't put a belly mower on and, worse yet, can't get it in the garage. So, I am close to buying a B2710 w/: loader, back-hoe (16" bucket), folding rops, 60" belly mower, 5' box scraper, r4's, and a 9" post hole auger. I figure the more attachments you get, the better the deal you can negotiate. I got a price of $25,500 which seems high. I would appreciate any input or advise. Thanks.

Tom yup 327 in a Falcon...But it took cubic dollars to beat cubic inches. You are right with the overall systems. I kinda look at it like women: I can read all day and look up the big words and understand how the system functions, but until I played with the total system in the back seat I never knew how lacking my knowledge was. So me guesses reading is one thing but impericial data/research is a wonderful thing.

Just an update. They borrowed test equipment to check pressures, replaced the steering priority valves, and couldn't get the power steering pressure high enough. So now they'll replace the power steering pump.

Their theory is that a weak pump caused me to have to muscle the steering until ruining the steering power unit.

Murf - what implement do you mean when you say "a cultivator"?

I have the same issue as terry, a garden with the top 5-6 inches tilled with a rototiller followed by a clay bed preventing drainage. My garden is a little smaller than his and the tractor I am buying is a few hp smaller than his (18 hp). I was thinking of using the box and loader to move half the topsoil in the garden to one end then use the rippers on the gannon to break up the 'next layer' but that sounds like a LOT of work.

Also, look at the quick disconnect features of the JD 410 loader. Have it demonstrated for you, and compare this feature with other loaders as well as how often you might want to take the loader off and put it on. If you will hardly ever remove it, then the quick feature is next to worthless. I have heard that most people do not their loaders, but maybe that has to do with the battle it takes to get some of them off and on. I have a JD 430, and the 1 - 3 minutes it takes to drop it or attach it is often pure pleasure and often fits my hurried schedule. At least I don't think twice about doing it.

As has already been mentioned, you must be extremely careful with hydraulic lines, especially under pressure. The connectors should never require more than gentle pressure to operate, if they do it means there is pressure present. The easiest way to do it is to get the tractor into position, then SHUT IT OFF, then cycle the valve through every position, this will release ALL pressure on the tractor end. The connectors should then slip easily together. Best of luck.

I don't know of any big ones. I usually rewind things myself or else take it down to the electric motor shop and talk about coils, wire, and magnetic things till their eyes glaze over and hope that they offer to "take a look at it". Update: I love my Kubota. I have used the Woods FEL some, the mower 3 times now and I'm impressed for the most part. Still learning how to mow more effectively. I had planned on getting a box blade at some point, but now ain't sure if that's what I need.<br>I have about 1/2 acre of lumpy ground that used consist of a 30' X 40' building, a garden and some pasture, the land slopes but that is fine since it's more back yard than anything else. I'm thinking a tiller would do a better job and the I could use a drag to smooth it down for seeding back in grass. Your thoughts? <br>

Go to Tracto Supply and pick up about 6 quarts of Master Seal. It comes in white plastic bottles. Put 2 quarts in each rear tire and 1 quart in each front tire. It takes a little time, as it is like snot and has to go in the valve stem.

I bought my Kubota B2710 in May of '99 and had a flat brush hogging the first day in very thorney conditions. I plug the hole and put the master seal in there and after 211 hours and 25 months I have had NO flats - not even a slow leak.

The stuff is harmless to your tires - will wash out with a water hose if you ever want to break the tire down.

If you want to beef up either bucket, bolt on an 8 inch cutting edge, (mine's cut down from a skid steer). This adds significant rigidity to my HD bucket, and saves wear and tear. 200+ hours of serious dirt/rock/boulder work and the bucket's in great shape.

Best price I can get is $ 25,745. That includes the 460 loader w/ 73" HD bucket and edge, dual SCV, 3rd, 4th, and 5th SCV, power beyond, tall folding ROPS, dual rear work lights, and 55 amp alternator.

I'm not familar with your NH front end, but on JD, they have a "stop bolt" adjustment on each side for clearance purposes. This is one reason it's not recommended to put chains on the front tires. Your owner's manual should show you the adjustment procedure...normally 1 - 2 " clearance... and don't forget the whole front axle pivots as well...
