Hi, I,m new to the forum.<br>
Have an LS 4155 throwing f11-s157 and f18-s1064 codes, lack of power and shutting right down at times. Did a little research and maybe need a computer update?<br>
Didn't know if anyone else had a similar problem.<br>

Check your hubs carefully; mine have a 'bump' that fits into the open center of the wheel. Your machinist friend will at least need to cut a cavity into one side of the spacer to accommodate the bump.
Up to you if you want to replicate the bump on the wheel side of the spacer. I didn't bother. Instead I cut a hole all the way through the spacer to fit the bump, which was relatively easy to do in aluminum. This will cut the weight down significantly as well, from 37 pounds to 24.

Your machinist friend probably has a paint booth if you're worried about rust.

Wife and I were watching Netflunx in the LR, and got a knock on the front door. It was a young blonde coed looking for odd jobs to get her through college. I asked her to paint the porch at the rear of the house, and gave her 2 gallons of paint, and offered $50. She took it.

An hour later she came back to the front door with one gallon of unused paint and asked for her $50. Handing me the bucket, she said ...

I had that problem and found the linkage had come loose on the shaft coming out of the transmission housing. Also, I believe that the manual says to stop the tractor before trying to engage the FWD.

I noticed this post from you. I have the same problem, three point goes all the way up and down but does not stop unless I manually jiggle the lever. I notice that my feedback arm has some play in it. (it is loose). Is that normal or does the play need to be removed?

Hello,
I apologize for not posting a followup.
I have a 4200 tractor with the SST synchronized 3 speed transmission.
When I split the third housing I found that the bearings on both ends of the
transmission cluster shaft had worn considerably causing the transmission to only shift and work in 1st and reverse AND only when I pressed hard on the shifter to keep it in gear.
There is the transmission mainshaft with the three forward and the reverse gear and then there is the cluster shaft which keeps all in motion...Almost exactly like a Muncie 4 speed trans out of a 69 zz-28 camaro.
The balls in the ball bearings (RUSSIA MFG by the way) were worn almost in half of their original diameter. This caused the shift forks to be out of alignment and to not allow shifting into 3rd and second gears.
I fixed the bearings and found new used synchronizer "brass Rings" at an automotive transmission shop.
The clutch appered to be just fine so all was cleaned and reassembled and the trans works great now. Although it is a synchronized transmission I will not upshift it on the fly ...Just because I do not wish to take it apart again.

I�m also having this issue and looks like the seal is bad. Do you have a YouTube video on this or some pictures on replacement. Where would I go for replacement seal other than direct to sales counter kioti?

There is a 4010 row crop tractor and a 4010 compact. I assume you mean the compact. The part numbers don't match, so the wheels are different. They may have same bolt configuration and may bolt on, but I can't find specs on 4100 wheels to know for sure,

I wonder if the wiper arm couldbe installed in the wrong position. On many cars there is a master spline that prohibits this from happening and maybe Curtis likes the wiper in that odd spot :-(

Thanks guys you R the Best order 2 from ebay should be here next week ! Its hard to get parts here in RI all of the tractor dealers closed down. My little (Homer) has been true since 2004 the day it came. It has 1000 hr on it now. The only thing i had gone wrong is fuel pump and fuel filter. which i took care of with a $16.00 fuel pump from Amazon instead of $265.00 from CC (same pump) and a larger fuel filter with water drain. Thanks again!!!!

For years my guys (bless their hearts) and I did commercial snow removal work on open station machines. In a big storm it would not be unusual for some of them to work 16 - 18 hours straight through.

We were as comfortable as could be dressed for snowmobiling, snowmobile suits, snowmobile helmets equipped with heated visors, heated gloves and heated insoles in snowmobile boots.

I think it is a good machine. It can probably run any front blower that is made for it. At least 50 inch probably more.

I have a Massey Ferguson 1020, 4x4, standard, MF Loader. So I scored this tractor for free in non running condition. Has not run in at least 10 years. Was parked because of bad hydraulic pump. Got it running after going through it, tearing apart injection pump, diagnosing and fixing clogged cooling system, new starter, used hydraulic pump, filters and fluids. <br>

Now that it starts consistently trying to figure out hydraulic problems. Loader hoses are bad. Disconnected and capped at supply and return on relief valve. Pump is moving fluid on high and low pressure side to relief valve. Pulled relief valve and inspected. Still no three point pto engaged or not. <br>

Thinking piston might be stuck in three point assembly. Help. What should I check? Do accessory outlet hoses need to be looped not capped for three point function? <br>

Hi I just finished blowing a 20 inch dump10 acre property 4 hrs. Old old McGee 6.6 ft. Open gearbox. Can�t kill them unless you pick up firewood�.. power 95 HP Kubota I don�t use shear pins on the drive shaft but keep property very clear of stuff. Pin on cross shaft for auger is only 5/16 bolt and never broke it.

Big thing is don�t push it, once snow starts to build in front, gear down. Have hydraulic adaptation or �abomination� for Shute. If using the wire crank be sure to use more than minimum turns and leave done slack. Shute likes to wobble around to work right. Check bearings on box. Bit of slop ok but likely the retainers as are just pressed steel.
