So, it's been 5-6 years since anyone posted contact information for possibly obtaining parts at Wisconsin Engineering.

I sent an email to Petra at Wisconsin Engineering, so we'll see if she replies with a way to order parts. Note that they recently changed their website so that the Farmar W4035 is no longer being sold. If you look hard enough you can still find the parts manual for it on their website.

How are people getting parts, nowadays? Is there somewhere else to get them besides Wisconsin Engineering? Thank you!

It's more about power management and traction control these days.

My daily driver is a 600hp AWD SUV, I run very aggressive snow tires that are designed for performance vehicles. I have very little problems with traction .... until my right foot gets heavy that is. LOL

My car has a 7 inch LED screen. I just saw an article that said a new 2021 Mercedes is going to have a 56 inch wide panel door to door LED screen. <br>

This fall I did some outside painting and found that the best thing to use was my Painters Tool. The edge was duller than a putty knife so it could loosen flaking paint without gouging. It was just the go to tool, the only thing I used for the entire job. A must have tool.

This was a pretty neat idea.

But honestly in the 12 years I have had them I only used them in year one and 2. Then I found a nice place to roll the deck and have never even thought of using them since, not sure even where I put em :-(

It is not a bad machine at all. But the price needs to be great, and you need to be better than average mechanically to keep her going.

And you need to be willing to rummage for parts. JMOO

my first tractor bought in 2001 if i remember was a used Cub Cadet 7274. great tractor did a lot with but every year it was in the shop for a month for repairs and dealer X had to wait for parts.It was a lot of hidden problems waiting to surface. especially electrical....wife said No more used ..so Traded in for a new NH TC33 in 2004, with a new dealer B, relatively problem free till this last Oct when brush hogging a field (done dozens of times before) a buried branch got kicked up by tire rolling over it, cracked a hydraulic line and filter housing.. dealer came got it and repaired in a week Dealer B told me they will be "authorized " to servicing NH items with parts for only two more years, as NH is changing it dealer support methods and requirements and local dealer mgmt is not in tune with NH recent behavior and requirements, so a parting of ways. So if i needed NH servicing dealer it be 1.5hr + drive versus 30 minutes. Dealer said they would still work on my tractor but parts support would be delayed. So I bit the bullet and traded in the NH (780hrs) for a Kubota LX3310 as they have carried the Kubota line for eons along with other major equipment lines,MF, AGCO.., I ve had a real good working relationship with this dealer (sales, parts,service) and ive come to trust them . someone mentioned fewer electronics on smaller tractors.. that might be true on some-- But this new LX3310 just about has as many buttons and warning icon lights and buzzers as my 2018 Car. ;-/ :-) Still taking sometime to get use to all that electronics

I suspect there IS a leak, you're just not looking in the right place.

The MF's run a similar system to the older Ford systems, it uses a completely segregated system with it's own separated reservoir and pump.

The most common problem is a seal in the steering column, the fluid leaks out there and drips off the bottom of the transmission. Because of where the leak is the fluid only escapes under a combination of rev's (higher volume) and steering action.

Did you get your drive shaft fixed?

I know it has been a while since your last post but wondering here, what the odds are of finding a suitable shaft or having one made that would slide together for replacment.

Then cut the old into to remove.

I checked the sensor wiring etc., it seems to be good. Checked oil pressure manually, all OK. Approximately 10psi per 1000rpm.

I don't think I need to worry too much, although I might install a permanent gauge.
