These 2 places would be your 1st go to as both have new and used OE parts. With the used parts, many come from low hour machines only brought from Japan, not Vietnam.

There is a place in IL called Schafers too. Not sure how much inventory they carry.

The YM155 has the 2TR13A engine that shares many parts with the Yanmar gray market machines. So, you are in good shape with the above dealers and refurbished equipment vendors.

If you need engine rebuilding and such, Weavers' and Stevens Tractor is a good place to start. Also, Southern Global is there too, but they are a bit pricey.

Over on the Yanmar GIO member site, our archives has folks who have swapped gears out and with photos. At the moment, we are moving from Yahoo Groups to GroupsIO. You will need a hydraulic press or find a local shop to work with in your area. Not really a hard job, just takes some time like most things do.

I have the service parts manual as well in PDF should you need that too.

All I can say is that I had a shorted glow plug and that took out a fuse located under the hood. If not that, start tracing power supply from ignition switch to the battery to see where you lose it. Good luck

Almost no measurable compression. Pulled pistons and wear outside tolerance on 2 of 3 cylinders. Rings broken on No. 3. Finishing tearing it down for bore/resleeve (It has sleeves which means it has been machined before).

well I have started my 955 several times now and it appears the starting problem may be solved. Thanks.
However, I still have a problem with the belly mower as it will not start every time I throw the lever. It appears there is a magnetic connection that pulls a switch and starts the mower. It will usually start the first time when the mower is cold. However, once the unit gets hot and you shut off the mower it usually will not start again. has anyone else ever had this problem and what is the fix?

Hughow, how can I find out where to look for the case crack on the Deere 110 TLB. I’ve always wanted one because I like the size, power and the skid steer interchangeability. I’ve something about the case cracking but really can’t find any details about it. Hoping you can help. Thanks so much.

If it died out [u]after[/u] cutting 10 acres of grass it's a fuel supply problem.

I'm seeing issues with fuel line degradation the last while, I don't know if it's something their putting in diesel now to make it 'cleaner' or to make up for the lack of lubrication from the removal of sulfur or what. Basically the inner core of the rubber fuel line breaks down to the point it chokes off the supply of fuel to the engine. Usually shutting it down for a period of times allows the blockage to open allowing continued use, but only for a short period of time before it happens again.

It's a cheap experiment, change out all the rubber hose in the fuel system for new stuff and see if the problem gos away.

I did changed and tested the fuel solenoid. :(
There is fuel coming from part " No 120" on the drawing (before entering that engine block) but not fuel coming on the top where the fuel lines are connected to take fuel to the injectors.
There is a mechanical part on that block that can get clogged??

Unless the old engine suffered some pretty catastrophic damage I'd have to say a rebuild will be the easiest / cheapest way to go.

The freeze plug I replaced was near the center of the engine, behind the alternator and ahead of the starter. It was the one that is most accessible.

All of a sudden the starter motor will not kick in. Batteries are all OK but no action from starter motor - not even a click. What should I be diagnosing first and how. How do I jump start it bypassing the ignition switch? How can I test if the solenoid is getting power?<br>

I have some surface breakup on the garage floor. I had used the epoxy paint with the traction flakes. Nice at first but could not take the winter tires, salt, gravel and water. So it flaked the flakes and paint chips every where the tires were in contact. A real mess. I was thinking I would use a leveler or epoxy cement to redo the surface but am dubious of the tire traffic doing the same to it.
