I had lost hair pins before if just pushed in to the first notch but never if pushed all the way on to where they were in the looped end. Still amazes me and to have it happen three times on the same implement and tractor combo fells strange. Only thing that makes any sense to me is the load on the cutter is way heavy on the right arm and the left arm can be doing some up and down and that is the arm the pins came out of. Working to place counter weight on the left end to prevent that rocking motion but am not using hair pins for such a load again. Really thinking about bolts with lock nuts or even locks.

With the Kubota systems it's not a problem but I'm not sure about the woods backhoe.

was able to fix my injector pump problem. it has 2 injectors one was stuck, took some fine sand paper and sanded the pin. moved with ease after that. i thought i marked with paint all the places that would keep me from fooling with the timing. well i did something wrong. i can get it running but water is coming out of top of radiator and smokes more than it should. so help if you can . i can take the gear back off of injector pump. just dont know where the engine gear needs to be or aligned for injector gear. thanks

Think your carb needs cleaning. Try to avoid ethanol in it.

The checks I am referring to would be in the quick connect coupler and in the control box for the front loader. Maintenance guide shows that a sticky spool could do that.

I have to disagree about the Restrictor. It can be located in the parts diagram. It is located on the Air box intake at the frame wall. It costs a few dollars and in most cases is a cheap fix

Replaced the battery because there were no lights to dash. Was about time for change anyway. After replacing battery still no light to Dash. finally replace battery ground cable and that fixed the dash light problem. Plenty of juice to solenoid terminal.<br>

now the engine tries to turn over. A rapid fire noise like machine gun when starting. But engine does not really turn over. the fan blades creep only. <br>

similiar to the sound of a weak battery but much louder now with the new battery. <br>

since it seems like the starter is trying to engage what would keep the engine from turning over? Thanks.<br>

Thank you. We figured out the 10-15 second hold from an earlier post but I knew there were more steps. I will pass this along to the family fix-it guy who is helping me check it out. So far the starter and battery are find but it seems to have lost it's ground wire- who knows how. I will look at the pics and pass the info along to mr. fix-it.

Hello guys, I have recently purchased a Hinomoto E2304 4WD with a Toyosha MS142 engine. I can't figure out the correct amount of oil needed for the engine. On all the specs sites it sais about 3.5 litres, however I've put 5 litres in it, barely showing on the dipstick. Is it possible that I have a wrong dipstick (it's about 11 inches or 28 cm long)? Or should I go ahead and fill it up to the mark (I'm thinking about 5 and a half litres). Thanks in advance!

There's a lot of mixed up information in replies here, very little of it relevant. Most responders are mixing transmission types that have nothing to do with a dual speed/ground speed PTO in *81 models.<br>

Perhaps most importantly, there is absolutely no need for an overrunning clutch on the PTO of any Select O Speed equipped tractor.<br>

Secondly, the transmission filter located under the top cover of these early tractors is not something that can be found at Wix, Baldwin or any of those other well known names. Is has just recently been made available again at DennisCarpenter. It had been NLS for some time at Ford (NH).

ok simple question. when you remove fuel connectors from top of injector, that goes to engine. it should shoot out fuel or have some type of pressure, when engine is turning over.

I have never had anyone complain about being able to mow in reverse and not have to touch a button. I would disconnect those wires and see if you still blow fuses!

Some times they do get stuck and a little help maybe needed to get them to turn. Go easy on the knob so you don't break it off so get a good pair of vice grips on the shaft.

Lexan is much like plexiglass but tougher.

For a glass to shatter as you described I would think something had to hit it rather hard lick or with good speed or it was under a load such as being twisted. I have no idea how the cab mounts to the tractor but wonder if possible it could be tight enough it have no movement. It is not impossible the glass was chipped or damaged while being installed.

As to no leak in the cab: I can only think of water in the cab by high humidity, really heavy sweating by operator or dog or such, a leak into the cab, air conditioning not draining or heater core is leaking or from such as washing it or drink spell or cooler leaking.
