My new holland 1520 came with turf tires, I'd like to swap for AG tires. I can't get the traction for my GA garden. Too many rocks or the clay is too slick.

I have a 2002 TC33D and the frame broke this week in fact the motor case broke on both sides also. We also have been told that this is not under warranty. Did New Holland do anything about this for you. No we did not use attachments that were over specs for this model.

I am in the market to buy a compact tractor to mow my 5 acre place and maintain my long gravel driveway. My land is slightly sloped but not too steep. I have found a Farm Pro 2425 25hp tractor with 226 hrs. on it. It looks to be in fantastic condition and the seller is asking $4250 or best offer. My questions are as follows:<br>
1. Are these good sturdy tractors for the use intended?<br>
2. Is the price asked for the tractor a god deal?<br>
3. What does anyone recommend that I offer for this tractor? It has no attachments with it.

Did you look up the manual on Kubota's web site? If there was a lever in there at one time and removed there probably is sign of wear to some degree.

I do not know what the lift lever setup on that model Kubota is like but have two different models and have found you need to keep the levers and all their linkage and contact oiled for they tend to rust in place very quickly, like between use. No doubt part of that comes from using them to spread fertilizer maybe some other chemicals. I just spray with WD 40. Hope that solves your issue.

I always replace anything that uses a hairpin if I can.
trailer hitch pins, I drill out the hole to 1/4 inch and get the matching flip circle lock pin.

Depending on your comfort level of opening up the transmission you may find it an easy fix or not. If you are comfortable with doing so I would suggest a stop by the shop of dealership and see if they will give or sell you a parts diagram (you may find on one the internet also) but ask the shop manager if there is something to be alert to on this. Some will share a few words of advice and others will not give you the time of day. Just like any other business.

I picked up a 2003 7254 - Kawi engine with two problems - 1, the PTO Reverse Override switch light is continually on and always active (Reverse does not stop the override) and 2, the instrumnent panel only half works, the left of the two 3 amps fuses blows as soon as I turn on the key, I suspect that the override is stuck and blows the fuse due to overload on start up or the instrument panel is bad and it cannot clear the reverse override. Anyone out there with the expertise to comment?

First I would check to make sure no breakers have popped. Some times a generator coil looses its magnetic field. If that is the case it needs a procedure called flashing. You can read up on it thru google or Murf will help you out.
