Sure, maybe decrease by 15psi really unless it's your snowplow tractor too. Then add the chains and the oil warmer or the lower radiator heater.

Thanks for the info Joel.I got on off ebay that is new and very close to what I need.I just need two 90 degree angle fittings to get it to fit without any mods.

It warmed up today a little so I hooked the splitter up. The book showed the pressure and return hook-ups backwards, other than switching those it works great. I split some with ease that my gas engine splitter wouldn't touch. Really happy with this!

Thanks Rob. A couple of things.

1) I am glad to know I'm not alone with this problem. -Although I'm sorry for your trouble.

2) I REALLY wish I had read the above before I found what was, I'm pretty sure, the last new old stock loader valve in the country, had it sent to me from Wisconsin and installed, and realized the problem was not resolved... AHHHHHHHH!

3) I am actively still looking for a solution to this, so any and all opinions are still encouraged and appreciated. -I have printed out all relevant opinions and will drop them off at the shop to try.

4) Once I figure out what the issue is, I WILL share it so you and others can learn from it.

5) Just spit balling, I'm wondering about the idea of emptying the hydraulic system of oil and pressurizing it with air and listening for air leaks, any thoughts on this strategy?

Some times I think about giving up and finding someone down south to sell it to...

Anyway, thanks again for the help all.

Very good review and comparisons of deere vs kubota. too bad it is 10 yrs old. What should be added to the review is the problem with cracked bellhousings on the JD 110 TLBs. I went to look at one yesterday and knew where to look and found a crack. Have no idea why they crack but the repair cost is 5 figures! Buyer beware.

Chinese ignition switches are notoriously unreliable. OE switches are not weatherproof, and the wafers inside simply disintegrate over time. But there are a couple other things to check first. <br>
(a) battery ground cable: disconnect the end that's bolted to the engine support frame. Use a wire brush or acetone to remove the paint from both the cable lug and the support frame. Once you've got bare metal on both, reattach the battery cable<br>
(b) clutch interlock switch; it's underneath the left floorboard. Yours may be positioned incorrectly relative to the clutch pedal, or it may be damaged/destroyed already. Reposition/replace as necessary<br>

Even if one of the above is the current cause, I recommend replacing the OE switch anyway. It WILL eventually fail. Shop for a Ford type cold start switch. There are cheap replacements for under $20 ( http://www.dealsinapinch.com/A_E7NN11N501AB_p/a-e7nn11n501ab.htm ). Chinese, but still better than OE. If possible, find a Lucas switch, they're the most reliable.<br>

And if cost is no object, get the same switch in marine grade. They're weatherproof and nearly indestructible. This one<br>

Are you talking about the big lump that is on the end of the crank and which the belt goes around? if so, strip it down. Its pretty easy WHEN you have got it off the engine. There is a 13mm headed bolt you need to remove, thats easy BUT then you need a long shaft and i think its a 12mm threaded bolt which pushes agaisnt the crank to pop off the clutch unit. Its a pig! Personally, i would take the engine out and do it on the bench. Removing the engine is half an hour, just remove exhaust, attachcments to starter and carb then remove stabaliser bar to rear diff and four securing bolts underneath. Once on the bench you can easily remove the long 13mm headed bolt and see with a torch the larger threaded bit that you need to tackle. Actually, thinking about it, if you take the engine out, you could leave the clucth on the crank and just remove the end of it to see what it wrong, its four small headed bolts.

Retol is probably just a residential guy doing his own lawn I am guessing. If he is a lawn service he is just a jerk that should just trailer back and not waste our time.<br>

But if not he went the extra mile to not go to Lowes or Home Deport to buy junk, went the premium route on dollars. And if so it is just outrageous to me that the dealer will not be immediately responsive with a delivery flaw that the machine is DOA. This is much less about Kubota and more about the dealer he bought from.<br>

I have a late 90s 4x2 gator and when I have the differential locked in the rear end sometimes makes a loud clicking sound. Adjusting the cable helps for a little while but then it will start clicking again. is my cable worn out or is it something in the rear end that needs replaced?

Best trick I learned ( trying to fix a mystery valve) was to blow air in the out end to figure out where the hydraulic channels actually went. Once that was done ( and all the diagrams were proven wrong ) everything became easy.

Just thinking off the top.
Check the rotation of the rotor.
You may have the wires in backwards order.
I did that once on a motorcycle.
Try running an extra ground wire from battery ground to the head and to the body of the distributor.
Check the ground on the coil. Check for the coil arcing out.
I had a coil arcing and could not see it flash when I tried it in the dark.

Vince- You may have found this out already, but the Cummins Fleetguard hydrostatic filters fit the DK Series. I found out when I started cross referencing with some Australian equivalents of a Polish filter used on Kiotis sold in Poland. It looks like the all the different filters are made in China and FOB out of Shanghai at $12.30 a pop. I don't feel guilty buying from Cummins at half the price of Daedong as there is still a heck of a lot of profit in it for the seller.

I'm not familiar with farmpro, but my foton had a relay under the dash that stuck open. I popped the cover off and could activate it buy hand until the new one came in.

I have had same problem in the past. With the brakes set and the tractor in neutral the tractor will start without the seat safety switch working, but will die if not in the seat. The problem is in the seat safety switch.
Tilt your seat forward and check the push button switch on the seat base. The metal tab on the bottom of my seat broke and I had to weld a new one on. An easy check of the switch is to unplug the switch and use a jumper wire on the wires. Always seem to happen when the weather gets cold.

Have no idea if that labor cost is right or not. How it could happen with 500 hours, I would say it was by not engaging the 4 wheel drive per the manual, or maybe using 4 wheel drive on solid surface such as a highway or parking lot. sorry about the problem.
