Art,I am going to change the filter and fuild on the hydraulics when I put the front blade on it.What should I use? The tractor never had a loader just a belly mower.Thanks

Yeah, been trying to. W14L is a common rim type, but seems to be pretty rare in 20" diameter. All the new W14L rims I've found are for 26" and bigger. Except for one on eBay, and I think $220 for a rusty rim is a bit steep.

Can anyone post some picturtes of there 3ph.s,and how the hyd. hoses run.I would appreciate it if you could show all angles so i can hook mine up.I think the former owners have hooked it up wrong because there seemed to be no pressure control on the hitch and one day I raised the hitch and it blew the whole back end out of the 3ph houseing where the middle link hooks too.8

Sorry for dragging up an old thread, but I was hoping someone might be able to answer this last question, as I am in the same boat...er, tractor. I have an LB1914 with cracked head, and it seems I can buy a Kubota D950 for about the same as a replacement head for my Kioti TD950 engine. Would love to know if the D950 would be a bolt-in replacement for my TD950.

I want to thank all of you who provided advise and suggestions regarding my issue with the angle of the exhaust pipe, found on a different post entitled "Exhaust Modification On A Kubota L3240." On November 10th I added a ninety degree exhaust pipe extension. The angle of the exhaust pipe is now pointed away fron the front tire. I was able to get the angle such that I can still open the side panel. I did this after I encountered problems whereby sand was being picked up by the front left tire, and the exhaust gas hitting the sand caused it to rise up into my face.

I want to thank all of you who provided advise and suggestions. I got the exhaust pipe dimensions and went to a local auto parts store. I purchased a ninety degree elbow and a can of high temp flat black paint, along with a pack of self tapping screws. I painted the elbow extension black and installed the elbow extension using the self tapping screws. The angle of the exhaust extension is pointed away fron the front tire now. I was able to get the angle such that I can still open the side panel.

Now that I know what to look for, when the right BB comes up, I'll grab it. Meanwhle, I'll fabricate a pair of "wings" and bolt one onto each end of my rear blade, so when I pull material along it won't so much spill out the ends. <br>

I've got a good weight on the blade (no power-down) and a modified pivot so I can turn and lock it a couple holes more than the 45-degree max it came with. And with one of my vertical hitch-arms fitted with a turn-screw I can change the L/R up/dn on the fly. I'll let you know how it works. <br>

Have an AMT 600 with a bad igniter. Deere part R91234 and Kawasaki part 21119-2071 are discontinued. Are there any other alternatives to fixing this or another part that would work?

If your tractor is still on 6 volts, it should be positive ground. It shouldn't drain your battery too quickly, even if the generator is NOT working. <br>
You can take your regulator out of the "loop" by simply attaching a wire from the F (field) terminal of the generator to ground. That will make the generator produce maximum output. The cutout relay in the regulator closes when voltage is sensed and charges the battery.<br>
You will, undoubtedly need to polarize the generator if the battery has been hooked up with wrong ground. You do that by taking a piece of short insulated wire and quickly touching the G (generator) terminal of the regulator to the B (Battery) terminal of the regulator. You should notice a spark. That polarizes the generator. It generally works everytime.<br>

That being said, I purchased an H which had been used as a Negative ground 6 volt and I've polarized it a number of times and never got it to charge the right direction. It is now a Negative ground 6 volt system.......

hey guys this is my first post iv been reading on here for a while and was going to pick yalls brains.<br>
i have a d2650 and am having troubles with the 3point, it is slow but strong and dose not leak down the real problem is the lift will not raise unless it is lowered all the way down to the ground, if i stop it mid stroke it wont raise until i drop it all the way down,<br>
i am thinking iv got a valve sticking or plugged but i dont know where it is or how to get to it<br>
if some one has any ideas or can tell me how to get to the lift valve i would appreciate it.<br>

I've saw those suction things, but never used ine.
I guess one way to know if it got the lions share of the old oil out would be to measure the amount of old oil it sucked out.
An example might be if the engine W/Filter holds five quarts and the dipstick shows full plus some estimate of how much old oil is in the used filter. So on with the story, if the old filter held a pint and you measured a bit over four quarts of used oil the tube sucked out you would be pretty close to getting it all out.

Another solution would be if you were driving cars like some of my ultra low budget cars I had in the past, just turn the car upside down till the used oil came out the fill hole.

If you have a diesel it's a Yanmar. 3TN68 or 3TN70. The FD620D is a gas motor.

I had to think about it a while but here goes.

1 - Regular maintnence, filters, oil, brake, clutch adjustments.
2 - Thermostats, most guys like me tend to lt them go too long.
3 - Heater, Air conditioner blowers, door and window seals, etc.
4 - Bateries and cables. Once in a while I get lucky with batteries tho. 4310 needed one at eleven years. We have two identical 345 Deere lawn tractors one is a 99 and the other is a 2000 model, both have original batteries, but have had cables replaced.
5 - Tires, dependes onnthe use some last 5 - 6 years some last 15 -20 yrs.
6 - Misc wiring problems, corroded terminals, broken wires, failed switches, etc.
7 - Again depending on use engine and hydraulics may last 5000 hrs without an overhgaul and some may last 12 -14000 hrs. before major money is spent.
8 - Paint and decals, Ive saw tractors 25 yrs. old that look practacaly new, they were kept clean, waxed and shedded out of the sun.

Murf, you could be right! Rereading it if the glow plugs were working he very well might have blown the intake off the tractor with the either if they were working! My thoughts though is they did not start that bad for the temps he had in PA at this point and it should have started on it's own without any assist at all.

It's unfortunate that although we send our kids to schools many children are not learning world history. To study Argentina's fate wuold probably scare them although through innocent minds they might not believe it could happen here.
We have run amock with getting the benifits to those who don't need them and those that do, while to many of them are still to proud to ask for them. It is those that are to proud that I'll be more then glad to give to. Those that expect it after two or three generations, while it's time to get them off to work!

There are two sizes a 2650 and a 3350 that were introduced. the cab is wider and more comfortable as well as quiter by a couple of decibels. The tires are the same size as prior models in that chassis. The 2650 is just under the size for emissions and roughly 4,000 less.
