Bought the wife a B2320 for mothers da, nice little tractor, things to get used to, lift and bucket roll at the same time, won't work, not enough flow, but the owners manual tells you that. Not happy with the 3 point control, not linear across the handle and can't seem to find the adjustment for it.
Other than that, the wife is just ecstatic with her tractor. One thing I am impressed with, 19 hours and still on the first tank of fuel, a little below half.
At 1500 pounds, the break out isn't what I am used to, but, it was to keep the road in shape, landscape, collect rocks out of the field and do her garden. I did use it when we first got it to help dismantle a man lift for the scrap yard. Max lift is around 700 lbs and you must counterweight. Still can't believe the fuel economy. Wife still wants to get the rototiller for it. Also maintains 1.5 miles of road pretty well also using a blade and a box blade.
We really have nothing to compare it too except a lawn tractor. Other tractors we have on the place are a Allis WD45D, Allis 7060, Ford 8N, a JD 310 backhoe and an old moline hand crank, but nothing small like this, the wife loves it, I like it, and it seems like I can get most of the summer done on about 5 or 10 gallons of diesel.

I would not give up. However, can't that machine go up that grade by itself. The main risk as I see it is the grade and the resulting tilt backward of the traier will shift some of the load off the hitch, so you might want to be heavy on the hitch. You need weight on driving axles on gravel or you spin.

Anyhow once I had a real big load behind a Chevy 1/2 ton up a long hill in hot weather and overheating was present. In order to get a very low range gear, I put it in 4WD low range and it worked.

As to trailers, my home made single axle trailer has an axle rating of 6,000#. There might be others out there like that.

I still have a 1985 shibaura tractor that no one has been able to identify the model, but that's another problem.this time the part in the 3ph that connects to the piston that moves down and causes the arm of the 3ph to raise somehow it overstroked and broke out the whole rear of the case where the middle arm attaches to.I think it had to much pressure.On the right side of the housing there is an attachment that I think is the pressure control valve.Well it's not hooked in the line.The hyd. hose runs from the control lever to the front end into the cylinder.I think it should go into th side piece then out to front end.I have no way of knowing how it goes if I'm right.The side piece is a Diesel Kiki brand.Can anyone give me a suggestion?

While I agree with Cutter's theory to a point, we also need to realize that the exact same issue keeps recurring. If the same thing happens often enough, it sooner or later becomes obvious. Just ask Ford about that happening to their Pinto.
A NH is kind of like breaking your pinky toe on the corner of the coffee table. You can limp around and treat it gingerly and get by, just don't do any real work!

Even worse than NH being an inferior product, their lack of standing behind product their turned my brand into red. I love my red, and have never looked back. I am now up to 11 implements for my MF1533 and it works hard.

Abolin, Having played that game before (NH frame game)and losing, the best thing you can do is change the color. Even if you fix again, you already proved that it will repeat. I really feel bad that you got nailed twice though!

Recently bought a Ford 1320 tractor with 60" mower. While I suppose the manual for sale at SSB would answer the question, I would like a scanned copy of the adjustments needed for the attaching mechanism. Otherwise it looks pretty straight forward. Tractor and mower have 1400 hrs and all looks good.

I have a 2003 Kubota L3830. The Hydraulic pressure is building up and have to pull the dip stick to release it. Anyone know where the pressure release is?

Pumps are rated by how much pressure they can develop at a specified rpm. That's pump rpm, not engine or PTO rpm. And that rated pressure is not typically achieved with the tractor engine at idle. You can do the math if your curious - to see how many engine rpm it takes to develop max pressure. Short of that, yes; you typically have to raise the engine rpm to efficiently lift heavy loads.<br>

Speed of lift on the other hand, is a matter of flow. Regardless of how many rpms or how much pressure, the faster the flow the faster the lift. Pressure is developed by the engine, speed is achieved by how wide you open the lift valve.<br>

is this tractor supposed to be full time 4wd? i am unable to locate a manual and see no "shifter to engage 4wd. my front wheels do not turn when the rears start to slip. please help!<br>

Hi, Latest news on this troublesome machine. I am sure only txjoey is interested. As far as I can tell the starting issues might be glow plug related and not fuel delivery issues. There is no current to the plugs or to the fuse box. All wires in the fuse box are hot except for the heavy black and red and small black and red. Recently I have changed the glow plug relay , glow plug controller and both of the inline fuses, 60 and 50 amp. Still no juice to the glow plugs. Should I replace the ignition next? Could there be a problem with a wiring harness? All fuses are good. Is there any way to heat the plugs from another source? Thanks for any suggestions!

I am looking to buy a mower conditioner with a 7 foot cut. I seen that John Deere had a model 1207 and 1217. Visually they look the same. What is the difference between the two models?

No need for a photo. It's on the right side of the tractor, just forward and to the left of the brake pedals. Typically black; one hose in, two hoses out. One output to the rear lift, one output to the steering. Disconnect all three hoses, remove PV, disassemble/clean, replace PV, reconnect all three hoses. System is vented, so there should be no reason to have to re-prime. You might have to replace whatever fluid was lost though.

So long as the rims are meant to reverse, meaning that the lug bolts will seat correctly in the rim holes etc. If there are no clearance issues with the valve stem any amount of added wheel track width will add to the stability.<br>
I'm not familiar with your tractor but if you have or intend to have a front end loader the more stability you can add the better.<br>

Well, after taking the tractor to a mechanic and pulling of the wheel he noticed that a round metal seal was missing and that's where all the oil was leaking from. the oil reservoir was also over a gallon more that should have been in it. <br>

Next question. the arms of the three point are connected on the side of the shreader frame. is this proper or should they be connected to the outside of the frame?

First sorry about your Father's passing.

Look around the transmission/rearend combonation for a filter. Not sure on MF but it may be an extrernal or internal filter. Look for say a 2 inch plug with place for wrench just in case internal fiter made to clean and renstall.

Manual is good but if you stop by MF dealership they should be able to tell you.
