I ran across a maybe strange problem while changing the hydraulic fluid. I found a drain plug in the far back behind the rear differntal...I unscrewed the plug and it was completely dry as a bone. I still changed the hydro fluid from the strainer hole and cleaned the strainer and it fixed the hydraulics...its much better.
But Im concerned about this drain plug in the back that had no fluid in it. It seems to me this rear chamber should have fluid in it.
Can anybody tell me what this rear plug goes to...or if its suppose to be dry ?? It just to the right and below the PTO drive shaft.

Your problem sounds just like mine from a few years ago at 750 hours on my Deere 755 Yanmar. I had the same symptoms as yours and it was lack of compression due to worn rings and cylinder walls. The air intake connections were loose and sucked in a lot of dust and prematurely scored the cylinder walls. We found low compression on all three cylinders. After tearing down the engine every part of the engine was within specification other than the bore. Hopefully it is something else but it does not sound like it.

Korean, formerly called Long I believe. Same blue paint too. So it's probably just a name change (Long -> LS) after some kind of corporate restructuring.

Guess i never saw a PTO leaf blower, It doesn't seem it would take much power to operate it. But to be on the safe side I think I'd opt for the heavier shaft.

Hi all a follow up to my Hyd Cly project for my back blade. I purchased a 16" HC from FiteRiteHyd which Greg had suggested. I have it mounted and it works like a charm. Still working on getting the selector valve set up but for now I am using the tilt lever since I really do not need it for my grading project. Thanks Bill

There are two hydrolic fluid tanks. One is up front by the radiator and the other is back on the left hand side upper in front of the fire wall. I think the front has a twist off cap and the back is a square not. 30 weight engine oil. The operators manual has this in it, Call Mark at 641.220.2499 for the manual and he is one of the best parts men in the country

Does it have spark? Could be the ignitor with the black wire going to it on top of the motor.

when i purchased my belarus the front end loader wasnt connected or anything and i have new hoses to replace the hydraulic lines and connections but i cant find a diagram showing me where the hoses all go. im not familiar with the front end hydraulic systems since this is my first tractor with a front end loader. if anyone could send me a sketch or diagram i would appreciate it!<br>

They couldn't have been any worse than Ford's ill-fated attempt at AWD in their Aerostar vans. They were built as RWD vans, but in the AWD format they had a pair of 12 volt drive motors in the front hubs, when the rear wheels slipped the electric motors gave some assistance.

Is there a way to adjust the spring tension on the pressure plate without breaking the tractor down? The clutch pedal is too easy to depress and there is chatter when release the clutch to move forward or reverse.

This is a strange one and we have not had any problems remotely close. It will take a shop with a good man on hydraulics to figure it out even with the simplistic system that is used. It might be as simple as a blown or pinched o-ring but which one!

You should be fine to leave it in four wheel drive as long as you are not on firm ground such as pavement. The front wheels are design to slip as they turn faster than the rear and if you get in surface that is hard it places load on the front drive train.

As to the pest and gauges...yep. Probably cut wire and maybe blown fuse. Mice will get in the worst of places. Depending on your air intake they will also clog those. I think you will find the new plows harder to pull. However might for some plows are just easier to put the angle of the wings and such.

I am trying to figure out the year and model of my father in law's tractor. I need to order a fuel tank. Where can I look to find the year and model? I guess the Model is R3500G, any help would be appreciated.He is going to sell it because he is moving and health issues. It is a 4 cylinder diesel.

He sprays a little something around the outside of the building quite regularly, whatever it is, very few venture in, even fewer survive his follow-up 'inspections'. :)
