About starter: It has always been negative(-)ground and + pole is going on solenoid on one bolt and another bolt is connected with copper wire to the dc motor.signal for starting the solenoid goes from lock to safety relay and to the solenoid.There is elecric switch on gear handle so if it's in gear it wont start.so put it in 2. or 3. gear put it out of gear and crank it up :).

I guess we can't let our guard down on about anything. A report on the local news a night ot two ago about fake census takers either calling or coming to the door wanting to confirm sometghing on your fourm, really all they are after is your SS number, etc.
I haven't gotten a "YOU HAVE WON' letter or E-mail for a while now, that must be old tech in the scamming world.

Well, it's not the Solenoid. It had stopped working completely and the new one does not work either. I removed the Control Module and it is toast, nice and black. I have now ordered a new Control Module and Fuel Shut-off Relay, but my concern is what is causing the problem. I don't know if it lies somewhere else or if this will take care of it. If you see a future commment on all caps, that probably indicates that I just burned up the new control module and/or solenoid (maybe I should just bend over and take it to the dealer for repair).

Short of rigging up a selector valve coming off the loader if you have one, the best bet is to bite the bullet and buy a kit from the dealer. They can be pricey but you rest assured everything will fit and have all the necessary relief and load checks in it.

My 1999 6x4 started to idle a little faster and now it really grinds into gear, sometimes very difficult, and won't sit at idle without foot brake on. It even is hard to stop momentum.<br>
I can push the idle arm a little against the stop screw, and that will slow the idle to normal, but it will pull back to the increased speed again.<br>
Can it be simply the spring on the idle arm?, but it seems to pull in the opposite direction.

Do you have access to Chevron brand lubricants? If so, Chevron All Weather Synthetic THF is for all practical purposes Kubota Super UDT. Chevron makes many of the lubricants for John Deere and I suspect you find they make them for Kubota as well if you take the time to track down the MSDS information. <br>

None of the tractor manufacturers manufactures their lubrants or other fluids. They are all contracted out to various petroleum refining companies. You CAN find the equivalent oil refining company brands that are MUCH cheaper.

Like most things in my life-I've screwed up what the model was.

The machine I'm considering buying is a B7100. It has a mid power take off. The only attachment that comes with the machine is a 4' rotary mower. I was interested in a getting a MMM. My local dealer says Kubota no longer makes a replacement mower.

Saw on Craig's list a MMM that's currently on a L225. My question was about whether this mower would work on the B7100.

Don't know your tractor but if like most try lubing where it goes into the transmission with oil. Why do they get hard to shift, one reason is such as chemicals that cause rust. Fertilizer spreader is a great to do this as so is some chemicals. I would suggest you should lube all such linkage where they enter transmission.

No it is not connected. I checked the switch and it is operating correctly it has just been bypassed

You can if you can find the right combo. You need to look at the static loaded radius of what you have and match it up. I did this on a Kubota.
