OK, I do not have the interior board installed yet, just the insulation (2 layers) and then OSB then Tyvak and then steel. I was planing to take out the insulation exposing the OSB, spray with vineger and let dry and see what happens. It's easy to say to rip everytrhing out, however that is a lot of money to spend if I don't have to. There seems to be mold in a couple of places in the entire wall. I'm just sick about this.

We've had an unusually nice winter, only two days of snow.<br>

Yesterday it was 50+ degrees so I spent a couple of hours changing out the snow tires on our two vehicles. The entire time I was thinking to myself, "Just watch, *now* it will snow".<br>

I have a 2005 Gator HPX 4x4 with about 400 hours on it. I am having problems with the 15 amp ignition fuse blowing. I have checkd the wiring harness thoroughly and cannot find any bare spots where it may be shorting out. Any suggestions would be appreciated. It is very intermittent. It hasn't done it for two months and Saturday it blew 2 fuses in less than 5 minutes. Ok, thanks

I'm fairly sure your next-size-up-than-mine does not have any fuses under the cowling--there are though a host of relays, diodes, control modules, etc. But no fuses. Mine are located in a central fuse box on the right hand firewall, and a main fuse on the other side in the form of a loose, 2-wire pigtail.

I own a 2004 JD 4310 tractor and I got a JD 48 backhoe for it. The mounting plates that attach to the tractor were not included. Does anyone know where I could get a pair? I'd even be happy to have someone trace the outline of one and I could make the plates. I don't have the power beyond on my tractor either. Has anyone had tubing/hoses made that functions as well as the power beyond set-up? Thanks!

I have an AMT600 that recently became hard to start, after a little investigation I discovered that the spark appeared weak. I replaced the spark plug and re-did the connection on the spark plug lead, spark was still weak. I removed the engine cowling and checked (visually) the ignition coil for damage, it appears O.K.<br>
My question is; how can I determine if the coil is good or bad with a resistance test on the wiring and is there something else I am overlooking?

There is a part called a thermistor that causes this problem. It does not allow the solenoid to energize long enough to overcome the oil in the solenoid. The thermistor should allow a surge of 20-30 amps when solenoid is activated. The thermistor is located behind the fuse panel. It is a small orange square plastic device that is soldered in the wiring behind the fuse panel. Just unbolt the panel and pull it out as far as you can. Cut the old thermistor out and solder or crimp the new on into place. The part number is LVU10323 and is around 5 bucks. Alot cheaper than a new solenoid.

It is a easy fix and if ur mechanical at all and have small hands it is a fairly easy fix.

I have a JD 4310 and I bought a JD 48 backhoe. The mounting plates that attach to the tractor were not included. Does anyone have a set for sale or know where to buy a set? I'd even be satisfied with a paper tracing of the plates and I could make my own. Thanks!

I found hydrualic cylinders at Northern Tools. I had to modify the connection on one end, but they work great. cost $89.00 each. thanks to all for your help

There are supposed to be two, they are all mechanical and used ones are like hens teeth. 622 or 626 units will work, but you can't find them used either. I think Deere is getting 500.00 a side for new ones.

Turned out to be a plugged fuel hose that went from primer apparatus to the filter. Had to take the primer mechanism with attached mechanical pump to get the hose off that was plugged. New hose and I am now ready to drive it to Alaska.

Like has been said a good dealership can make or break your tractor experince. Brand loyalty seems to cluster around a good dealership, locally you don't see many Masseys but a dealer is quite a ways from here too.
I have no Massey experience so I can't comment only that I think they are still the largest tractor builder world wide so someone must buy them. Deere, Kubota, and Case/NH are all good brands with parts forever. I'd be a bit shy about the overseas brands that I can't pronounce, you see a dealership pop up here and there and a year later the place is vacant.

Playing with the Devie is dangerous but if you want to find out just how far this guy is from legit ask how many he has or or lead on you have need for say four and have friend/brother/business partner or such coming through his area in say 2 days with 18 wheeler and can give him cash and load if they meet inspection. What more could he want? The tractors will for some odd reason be in another city or have been boxed and obligated to ship by a certain trucking company for some odd reasons.

Just be careful you don't give this Devil info that he can use to harm you.

If your air filter is Clean, Sometimes you need to tap on the sensor to get the light to go off. Some of the sensors have alittle button on then , Push that in and tap on it. Normally the light will go off. The Sensor is located right on the Air Cleaner Housing.

OK, I understand what you mean,I had forgotten about that situation. I had a three point mounted sprayer once with the situation you describe I had room if I pulled the top pin out of the mast of the machine then let the lower hooks of the quick couple do their thing then put the pin back in the top of the mast when it lined up. Yes it sorta defeats the concept of the quick hitch but at least the lower pins snapped in and helped line up the top mast pin. I stripped the three point frame off the sprayer and now slide it in the box of the Gator with a 12 volt pump, with about an eight foot home made foldable boom. I've sure ruined the lives of about a zillion dandelions in the yard and use it for spot spraying around fencerows.

Toes, the Indians named this place of Flat Rock "'level pebble" for the limestone that is just below the river bottom. I tell people that it's not the end of the world---but we can see it from here lol

Spent a lot of time at the Sugar Bowl in Gladwin (Rose City). The locals used to pull the stop signs out of 4-way stops in the hopes of ending the lives of offroaders who according to them were tearing up the place. Even had a shotgun aimed in my face when we got off the trail accidentally. Those were the days!

Back to the topic: I've seen guys use the hood of car flipped over with the log's front end resting on the hood and chained to it. Another chain is connected to hood and the tractor. The hood acts like the bow of boat to get on top of vegetation, snow or mud when the timber arch doesn't work.

Well take this for what it's worth. I own one, paid 6000. for it five years ago, it had a 60" mower and I got one hell of a tractor. I have since added a FEL, scraper blade PHD, bush hog. I looked at trading up this year and was quoted 10,trade in with the loader. Point being I think the cost is nothing compared to the use you will get out of the tractor. Buy the thing and don't look back.
