Remiove the fuel line from the inlet side if the fuel filter, if the fuel level in the tank is above the filter inlet you should have flow, if not something is plugged.
If you have checked this and changed the filter there may be a hand primer pump to bleed the injector lines, your owners manual will tell you how.
If all the above fail and you aren't an experienced diesel repair person I'd call the dealer for their help.

Sounds like you may be down a cylinder. Check the rear plug and see if it is firing. See if both exhaust pipes are the same temp when running. I'll bet one is cool. Don't burn yourself!

In [i]my [/i]travels, I've only seen 25hp, 40hp, 70hp and 82hp models. I know there are a few other models imported - a 50hp model from NorTrac, a 60hp and couple of 100+hp models from a dealer in Iowa - I just haven't actually set eyes on those. But no 45hp models at all that I know of. And I'm pretty sure the 40hp is a three cylinder. So I don't expect you'll get any (accurate) info on a 45hp/4cyl model from American sources.<br>

But Google did find for me, that there's a FT454 sold in South Africa that uses the Quanchai QC495 engine. Foton is also marketed as EuroLeopard, so asking about EuroLeopard engines might yield results too.<br>

Check your air filter as well...if it isn't getting enough air it will struggle.

If it isn't fuel or air then its probably more serious....Does it seem like its got a miss in it or the timing is off?

Basically like the subject states, I'm looking for body parts for a 1989 amt 626. <br>

The lady I worked for had it in the barn for years...it hasn't ran in at least the 8 years since I've been there so it was going on a decade since it had ran last. The engine in it was ceased up but they had another engine with it that they said burned oil bad...they were gonna take it to the scrap yard...but since I wanted it they just gave it to me.<br>

I changed out the engines and switched the carburetors and now it runs and doesn't burn oil. But it is ugly.<br>

Half the dash is missing and the entire front plastic hood I guess you might call it, more of an apron on the front really is destroyed...Parts seem to be elusive. <br>

As of now I have absolutely no money in it and figure I can at least stick it in the yard and get 400 outta it just cause it runs and the tires hold air but if I got it looking pretty for a reasonable price I might be able to get some more out of it.<br>

Any help or direction would be greatly appriciated....I'm in the Muncie Indiana area if you guys know of any place around here where I might be able to find something. I'm really hoping to avoid the dealership mark-up.<br>

Seriously, you can use good ol' gasoline on a clean rag too. There's no cause for concern about gas reacting with the paint--think about when you refuel--ever splash gas on it and nothing happens?

For the record on my Dodges I've used lacquer thinner, acetone, toulene(sp), gas, alcohol, mineral spirits, Goof-Off.

Man! I wish I had the time to worry about tar on MY white truck! LOL

[/QUOTE]Again, apples and oranges. These are not wet clutch machines. The hydraulics only power the rear lift and the steering - and a front loader if so equipped. The main drive and PTO are engaged with a conventional (dry) clutch pack.

Your issue sounds like a slipping main drive clutch disc, but it's not necessarily shot. There are some adjustments that can possibly bring the clutchpack back into operating range. Is yours a three finger clutch - or a six finger? You'll have to remove the inspection cover on the side of the bellhousing to get that answer.

A blower and rear blade can be obtained anywhere and connect easily. A front loader should be right for the tractor and installed professionally. Yours is a bit small for one, and it would be a shame to disconnect that custom front blade-mount.<br>

Value? If the hour-reading is correct, it would be like someone finding a 1985 Toyota with only 15,000 miles on it. With the attachments, and a history of proper maintenance and storage, could be worth $5-7.5k, or twice the value of a similar one that had more typical use.

Sounds like the hydraulic filter is clogged. I had a similar situation and found that the filter collapsed from suction. I always put in the factory brand.

GT9772, I ordered a manual from a guy on Ebay this Spring for my L245DT. It was on a DVD or CD, it was an Adobe Acrobat Document. The cost was only $10 + shipping. I don't know if he has any more, but if you go to Ebay an look up the sellers name ( rmit4u), perhaps you could ask him. The nice thing about a manual on the computer is that you can print off the pages you need, if you spill anything on them, no loss, just print another page.

The only thing I use my 22-horse for in the winter is the Canadian snow. It works fine and the small size is good for sidewalks but I had to make modifications:

-liquid ballast in rears -four chains -rear blade that I modified to push/pull at a more acute angle -crank on a hitch vertical arm to change the up/down angle on the fly

Only problem is that with lots of snow on a narrow lane, the shoulders can get too high to take more, and I wish I hadn't sold my blower. (I move the shoulders with the bucket.)

I decided mine didn't have the lifting and hydraulic power to handle a bucket grapple.

new purchase will a l3240 do the job

Ronald in a sense that is right funny. Just think how happy you will make the brush that you now have to cut. You sure should have a smoother machine now. Glad it was so simple. Did they give you the correct blades or did you have to buy them?<br>

Hardwood, we have just enough sand here that you don't have to sharpen especially the cheaper blades. You just replace them as they are will wear very thin.

Generally the best thing to do for pricing is to check out dealer asking prices on web sites like machinefinder dot com. Figure a private party sale would be ~10-15% less. Unless someone here has recently bought one and would share what they spent, but a sample size of one wouldn't be very representative and could be way high or way low.
