Hey guys, first time to forum. First time tractor owner too. Just got a 1976 Kubota L245 (2WD so I think that makes it a L245F). Does anyone have the owners manual or repair manual for this tractor? I have a lot to learn.

I should think that a service manual would be available through the net or a dealer, and would be a worthwhile investment. ....

You may wish to try ebay. As suggest try local Kubota dealership. Some can be right pricy (to me) but still worth it. ....

GT9772, I ordered a manual from a guy on Ebay this Spring for my L245DT. It was on a DVD or CD, it was an Adobe Acrobat Document. The cost was only $10 + shipping. I don't know if he has any more, but if you go to Ebay an look up the sellers name ( rmit4u), perhaps you could ask him. The nice thing about a manual on the computer is that you can print off the pages you need, if you spill anything on them, no loss, just print another page. ....

Petegoud posted that he purchased a CD Manual on Ebay for an L245DT. Can you tell me if the manual was useful? I need to repair the PTO on my model and am interested to know if the manual would have that information?

tnilsen, that CD is a copy of the original shop manual that Kubota made. For the money, it's about the only way you're going to get a copy of that manual anymore. It should cover the repairs you need to make. Pete ....
