It's not the most common yannie around, but it is an "export" model for which you can get parts like gaskets and a factory Service Manual (shows how to remove/install). Forget other engines. Contact dealers like Aaron at Hoye Tractor (Texas), Gary at Jamieson Tractor (PA), Len at Shaeffer Tractors (Illinois) or I can get you others, about getting an engine or just a block off a parts tractor. Then try tractor bone yards.

Your present clutch is the 15.5 MPH version and if you buy a new one it will be the 18 MPH, so you pick up almost 3 MPH in the deal. All the 6x4 gas clutches will fit and work except for the TH version. You don't have to know your serial number. New clutches are around 300.00 There is a guy on line that sells used parts too. Your secondary clutch could be bound up also. The sleeve inside the 3 cam helix could be seized to,or bound up on,the post on the stationary sheave. Also check the 3 plastic buttons that ride on the helix angles, one or more of them could be missing.Iam also detecting another problem in your post. Your Gator is not supposed to start when it's in gear. I guess your former owner disabled the neutral switch because the clutch didn't work.

Came across your review and thought I would say, I upgraded my Kubota B7500 and bought a Kioti 45SE HST. I really like this machine, not just for it's power but how comfortable it is too. I have cut pasture and brush almost all day and when I quit for the day I felt fine, not beat up from bouncing around like a bronc rider.
It is the smoothest running Tractor I have ever had. Now that you have more hours on yours how about updating your review.

There are some good ideas here. I think I'll wait until Yooper releases his new rack to see what it's like. If it doesn't do everything (does anything?) maybe it would be a good basis to build on. Murf's loader arm idea is worth further investigation too.

Although it would be most convenient to have the saws on the tractor they are most often used in conjunction with the chipper so I could hang a rack on one fender of the chipper or build something that sits on the tongue. The pole saw may fit lengthwise somewhere there too.

Your question really is where can you get access to the technical manual. There isn't a schematic of a few pages that could be scanned and sent to you, the schematics consist of many pages broken down in sections. So really your choices are find someone near you who has one, find a friendly dealer, buy a pre-owned tech manual from craigslist, ebay, etc. or buy a new one from JD. JD may sell them on CD now for less, not sure about that.

MN: 74302, SN: 85425. I am in need of the belt routing, from engine to cutter head. PO took the belt off before bringing it to me to repair engine and cannot remember the routing. Jeff, it's a dead simple, complicated reason. LOL

During the summer the sun is higher relative to our position on the earths surface, this is because during the summer the earth is spinning on a different angle relative to the sun. This puts us closer to the sun, and gives us more heat, more sunshine and our summer.

Because the sun is at a higher angle relative to us, it appears over the horizon earlier in the morning, and disappears over the horizon later in the day. This causes to a much longer overall day in the north.

It is the opposite of this that allows our area to cool down so much in the winter also, we are further from the sun, and get less hours of sun to heat our part of the earth.

The further south you go, the closer you get to the equator, and the less affect this change has on the earth there. In fact if you look up the sunrise/sunset times (Google them) for cities working from say Key West Fl. up the east coast to Maine you'll see the pattern quite clearly.
