I think you will find more than just the seat safety switch and anyone probably could stop it. Also look for a wire to be pulled loose from a safety switch. It will be much easier if you have a meter to test to see if current is going through the switch one at the time.

The soil type near the house is just too heavy and black for garden use, great for corn, but not garden.
We have a sand hill probably 5-600 ft. from the garden, so this spring one bucket at a time with the 4310 I brought in enough sand to cover the garden plot 30X50?? about four-five inches deep, then tilled it in and ended up with a lot better garden soil.
Point being, probably 20 yd. of sand, I don't have a clue how many trips, but like Murf said, faster than God put it where it was, and I had fun doing it.

I have sat on docks at sunset listening to the loons, saw other mountains from the top of Pikes Peak, all neat things and glad I've saw them.
Now for an old Iowa corn farmer, just stitting out on a bench on a warm summer night hearing the corn grow is music. Yes you can hear corn grow, it pops and snaps on a warm dead still night.

Kenny, one of the old timers I see every morning at 'coffee break' had a bit of ravine in his yard that had been there as long as anyone could remember. It had been created some time back by water running off the road out front and heading through the yard to the river out the back instead of down the ditch to where the road and river met. One day he announced he was going to fill it in and level the yard to make mowing easier and make it look better. One of the other fellas mentioned it was a big hole for his little tractor to fill and level, it was going to take a lot of dirt and take a [u]very[/u] long time to do.

He finished his coffee and said "I suspect it [u]will[/u] take a while, but certainly less time that it took the good Lord to make it."

Hard to fault logic like that.

I've passed on the diagram you sent me to dozens of people with the fix. It has worked perfectly! I haven't had any issues with my 7275 in years. I fixed the loading mounting bracket issue some years ago. Love the tractor!

A that AC is a MUST in any new style almost all glass cabs.

cab or not is hst plus that good how does the ac hold up

Could be a few things. I would start at the ignition switch. Check the yellow/red wire coming out of the switch and see if it gets hot in the start position. If so, go to the neutral switch on the top of the transaxle, unplug it from the harness, and jump across the two terminals in the harness and try it. Also there is a start relay on the frame rail near the regulator and fuel pump, make sure the larger purple wire coming out of it gets hot in the start position. That is the same as the red wire that plugs into the back of the starter solenoid, so make sure that connection is good. If the red wire gets hot in the start position, and nothing happens, your solenoid is bad. The smaller purple out of the relay provides the ground for the relay thru the neutral switch. Of course there are wires and plugs in all this that could be bad. Your dash lights from left to right are: voltage, oil pressure, temperature, parking brake, and diff lock. The voltage and oil pressure lights should light in the run position. The temp light should light in the start position. MY bet is the neutral switch.

If you have the parts you need to replace take them to your local tractor dealership. Many parts are not that odd and will fit more than one brand. It may be you will need to visit more than one to find a dealer who is able to think past the brand but they are out there.

That adjustment isn't related to slippage anyway, it's to fine tune the engage/disengage points. I fear your main drive friction disc may be shot, but first it would help to know if you can count three or six fingers through the inspection window.

6x4s have been known to throw magnets and chunks of magnets from time to time. Also when regulators go bad, they sometimes start out not charging at idle. Sounds like you need to have a look at your flywheel and behind it soon!! Things will probably be self explanatory when you get in there. Best way to do that is remove the motor. It sounds like alot of work, but it is much easier to work on when it's out. As far as changing to an alternator, I doubt that it's worth it.
